Huanghuacheng Great Wall is located in a village in Jiuduhe, Huairou District, about 65 kilometers (40.39 miles) from Beijing. It has a total 10,800 meters (6711 miles) long that also located a resort where combined with the landscapes of mountains, lakes and the ancient Great Wall around. Huanghuacheng Great Wall is also joins with Mutianyu Great Wall in the east, and Juyongguan Pass and Badaling in the west. From Huanghuacheng Great Wall, you can reach Badaling towards the west in seven days and then Mutianyu to the east in about four days by foot.

Huanghuacheng Great Wall was constructed around 1404 during the Ming Dynasty (1368 – 1644), began under the supervision of General Cai Kai. In total, Huanghuacheng Great Wall has 6 forts, 6 passes, 12 beacon-towers, and 32 guard towers. Among them, called Yaoziyu Fort which built in the Ming Dynasty about 500 years ago is the best preserved one. Recently, Huanghuacheng Great Wall is not only famous for its beautiful sceneries but also popular for its hiking activities.

Huanghuacheng Great Wall got its name that it means City of Yellow Flowers. When summer comes, come to this section of the Wall you are going to see a large amount of sweet yellow flowers blanketed all the area around. And when autumn comes, the surroundings will covers with red, yellow leaves tress make the atmosphere more romantic.

Huanghuacheng Great Wall is also the only one section where located near from the water. From the Wall, visitors could see a lake and a reservoir by close distance. The reservoir is called Huanghuacheng Reservoir and the lake is called Jintang Lake. Wandered along the magnificent Great Wall with no crowds and enjoyed the stunning sceneries around in all season.

Huanghuacheng provides a challenge to hikers because the steps are rather steep and paths out of repair. With its unique characteristic, Huanghuacheng Great Wall has its own interest. No cable car service available. Offers quite dangerous hiking section of the Wall, visitors should have a good physical condition for hiking. Wear comfortable clothes and shoes for hiking Huanghuacheng.

Transportation to Huanghuacheng Great Wall
By Bus: Take bus No. 916 at Dongzhimen, get off at Huairou International Conference Center. Then, take the bus from Huairou to Xishuiyu and get off at the last stop.

By Car: Take Badaling Expressway and exit at Chanping Xiguan. Follow signs toward the Ming Tombs then turn right when you reach Changling Town toward Jiuduhe, turn left at the Jiuduhe intersection, and continue to Huanghuazhen intersection then turn left. Once you reach the Y intersection, bear right and continue for a few more kilometres to the Wall.

Giant Panda of China can be said as one of the China national emblem beside dragon. The giant pandas in China can be found in a few mountain ranges in central China, mainly in Sichuan Province. The giant panda itself is easily recognized by the large, distinctive black patches around its eyes, over the ears, and across its round body. What do pandas eat? The simple and exactly answer is bamboo. Giant pandas daily menu consists almost entirely of the leaves, stems, and shoots of various bamboo species.

In China, there are many nature habitats of giant pandas include in Sichuan (Chengdu Panda Breeding and Research Center) and Beijing (Beijing Zoo). Here some information of those 2 location which you could admire adorable Chinese giant pandas during China vacation.

Becomes one of the world historical heritages, Xian Terracotta Army attracts large number of tourists from all around the world to come to China. Besides Great Wall, here it is can be said is the second must visit place when visiting China, Terracotta Warriors.

Local farmers while digging a well on their communal farm in Yang village in 1974 founded this small part of first emperor of China. Terracotta Warriors is a mausoleum complex of Qin Shi Huang Emperor (First emperor of China). It has covering a floor space of 22,000 square meters which consists of three main buildings, Pit 1, Pit 2 and Pit 3. There housing about 8,000 life-size terracotta figures of warriors together with 130 chariots with 520 horses and 150 cavalry horses.

Terracotta Army built during 36 years with in total more than 700,000 laborers worked on the project. In order to protect emperor after life, Qin emperor built the tomb since he was young. The most magical thing is thousands of those terracotta sculptures have different facial expression, clothing, hairstyle, and gestures between one to another.

Because of its impressive architecture, Terracotta Army can be said is the world biggest archeological founding which also listed as one of the World Heritage by UNESCO.

There are three exhibition pits inside the mausoleum complex. Pits one where exhibits terracotta chariots and warriors cover 210 meters long, 62 meters wide and 4.5 to 6.5 meters high. It is believed to contain 6000 warriors (only 2000 are on display) and horses, all facing east and ready for battle. Pits Two where exhibits are crossbowmen, cavalry, infantry and chariots is 96 meters long, 84 meters wide and 5 meters high. There containing around 1300 warriors and horses. Pit 3 is 21.4 meters long, 17.6 meters wide and 5.3 meters high where contains 72 warriors and horses. It is the smaller pits in Terracotta Army and also believed to be the army headquarters.

How to get Terracotta Army?
The Army of Terracotta Warriors is easily reached by public bus. From the car park at Xian train station, take one of the green Terracotta Warriors minibuses or bus 306, both of which travel via Huaqing Hot Springs and the Tomb of Qin Shi Huang. Located little bit far from the downtown of Xian, it will be very convenient if you just book the tour online from local travel agency.

If you come to Xian, it is a must for visit Terracotta Army. Once you enter the complex, you will see thousand terracotta sculptures stand in to a battle formation. Strong sacred and mysterious atmosphere will attack, giving incredible feeling about ancient history of China.
