Leshan Great Buddha is located in Sichuan Province and it was built during the Tang Dynasty. Known as the biggest carved stone Buddha in the world, it is a great sculpture, a figure of Maitreya, a Bodhisattva traditionally represented in sitting posture. Lies at the confluence of the Minjiang, Dadu and Qingyi rivers, visitors could take a tourist ferry to get different panoramic view of the Buddha.
Standing about 71 meters, the whole Leshan Great Buddha statue architecture belongs to the Tang artistic style. Surrounded by beautiful landscapes of Mount Emei, by visiting Leshan Great Buddha, you will also be able to enjoy stunning panorama of the mountain. If you want to see some details of the Buddha's head, you could climb the plank road alongside the cliff which located just next to this gigantic Buddha statue. At the top of the cliff, visitors could take a close look at this huge statue. Because it is majestic figure, in 1996, together with Mount Emei, Leshan Great Buddha listed as Heritage of World Culture and Nature by UNESCO.

Tian Tan Buddha or also known as the Big Buddha is located on Lantau Island, Hong Kong. Although it has smaller size than Leshan Buddha but it has recognized to be the tallest outdoor seated bronze Buddha in the world. Completed in 1993, it took 12 years to finish it. Visitors may climb 268 steps to reach the platform and enjoy mountain and sea views that can be seen from its base.
The statue named Tian Tan Buddha because its base is a replica from Tian Tan, Temple of Heaven in Beijing. The statue sits on a lotus throne on top of a three tiered altar. Sitting 34 meters high, Tian Tan Buddha is presented in a posture of serenity. His right hand is raised to remove affliction. His left hand rests on his knee, representing happiness. It has become an outstanding piece in Buddhist sculptural art in recent history.

Located in Wuxi, Jiangsu Province, Lingshan Buddha was built at the end of 1996. The statue is a bronze Sakyamuni standing Buddha with more than 80 meter high, on a 9 meters high lotus shaped seat. Located close from another famous Buddhism temple, Xiangfu Temple, Lingshan Buddha has become a symbol of Wuxi tourism and popular Buddhist site in the area.
Lingshan Buddha got its name because it located on the small Lingshan Mountain. And the Mountain was named by Tang Xuanzang, a Tang-dynasty Buddhist Monk. Surround by Taihu Lake and a beautiful range of hills, Lingshan Buddha offer majestic view to each visitor that come to the area.
