Itinerary of China Group Tour - 6 Days Beijing Xian Group Tour with Hotel

Day 1: Arrival at Beijing
On your arrival at Beijing, we will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your hotel in Beijing. Free on your own for the rest of the day.

Day 2: Beijing (B, L)
The tour guide will pick you up from the hotel around 7:30am, and then drive to Ming Tombs (Changling). A short visit of Jade Carving Factory. After lunch, driving to the Badaling Great Wall. Enjoy the Chinese traditional Silk arts. After the tour, transferred back to your hotels.

- Ming Tomb: Buried 13 emperors of Ming Dynasty, it is the largest clusters of imperial cemeteries in China.
- Badaling Great Wall: The most famous and best-preserved section of the Great Wall.

Day 3: Beijing (B, L)
The tour guide will pick you up from your hotel around 07:30am. This tour starts at Tian'anmen Square, then go to the Forbidden City. On the way to Temple of Heaven, you will have a chance to visit the Chinese traditional medicine culture. Then visit the Temple of Heaven. After it having traditional Chinese lunch, enjoy a short visit to a pearl free market. Take you to visit the Summer Palace. After the tour, transferred back to your hotels.

- Tiananmen Square: The largest public square in the world with a total area of 440,000 square meters.
- Forbidden City: The best preserved imperial palace in China and the largest ancient palatial structure in the world.
- Temple of Heaven: The largest existing complex of ancient sacrificial buildings in China.
- Summer Palace: The largest and most well-preserved royal park in China, greatly influences Chinese horticulture.

Day 4: Beijing - Xian (B)
Pick you up from the hotel then transfer to Train station, then take the G train to Xi'an. Drop you off the the hotel in Xi'an.

Day 5: Xian (B, L)
Tour guide Pick up from your hotel in the morning. First have a one hour tour of Banpo Museum. After visit Banpo Museum you have a chance to visiting at the Qin Terra-cotta figures factory for about 40 minutes. After lunch, move on to the famous Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses for a 3-hour visit. At the end of the day tour, you are transferred back to your downtown hotel in Xian.

- Terra Cotta Warriors: It is a part of the Qin emperor's tomb complex, the Terra Cotta Warriors is the greatest findings in the archeology world.
- Banpo Museum: The Banpo Site is a typical Neolithic matriarchal community belonging to the Yangshao Culture. The village was inhabited from about 4500 BC to 3750 BC.

Day 6: Departure from Xi'an (B)
Prepare to leave Xi'an, tour guide will pick you up from the hotel and we will send you to the airport. See you off and the tour end.

First appreciating Beijing landscapes, extremely marvelous and fantastic! Especially Badaling Great Wall, it is so magnificent and marvelous bringing me many wonderful legendary stories. Tour guide is very informative giving us many interesting stories behind and explanation. Once arriving at Xian, I was completely impressed by its profound background deeply. Banpo Museum is a meaningful place where I saw many historical relics, really impressive!

As Beijing regular tourist, we booked the Beijing Xian China tour to enjoy the terrific capital cities Beijing and Xian. Xian is truly an amazing city decorated by traditional atmosphere and highlights. It is my second time appreciating the legendary Terracotta Warriors. It is more elegant than the first time I saw. This time, I paid much attention on the carvings. Their gestures, behaviors, appearances and positions all deserved deep discovery!

After appreciating Beijing highlights, we took the train coming to Xian. It is really a terrific old capital city housing so deep traditional culture. It has been my second time visiting Terracotta Warriors, really terrific building. First time visiting Banpo Museum, I felt that I have been to the ancient times! The Banpo Site is a typical Neolithic matriarchal community belonging to the Yangshao Culture!

Once arrived in Xian, I was impressed by the local environment deeply! It is like an old style castle full of many wonderful treasures. The biggest treasure will be the Terracotta Warriors, mysterious and magnificent. I admired the first emperor of Qin dynasty very much. He ordered loads of workers contributed in the project. Tour guide told us much about the background, very legendary!

Last week, together with my friend, we explored Beijing and Xian. First time to Xian, I found I liked it very much. Not only because of the fresh atmosphere but also the inner tastes and deep cultural atmosphere impressed me. Especially the World Wonder – Terracotta Warriors, it conveyed much mystery to us, relating history, culture and art etc.

Should have been a group but we were the only people, so it was a private tour really! 6 days explore two cities in China was extremely memorable and interesting. We learnt a lot of culture and history of China by visit those remarkable sites. All in all very good tour covers plenty amazing place to see! We had a wonderful time with this tour. Beijing and Xian has a lot of very interesting and beautiful places to see. This 6 days group tour may not cover all of them but it includes most of the must-see places in both cities. The tour guide was knowledgeable, fluent in English and entertaining. We spent enough time at each location and enjoyed the visit till the end. Excellent!
