Itinerary of 4 Star Yangtze River Tours - Galaxy I (Fortune) Cruise

Galaxy No. 1 and No. 2 are the sister ship on Yangtze river which set off in year 2002. The decoration is according to the 4 star cruise, these ship could meet the international require for a confortable, convenient and safe sail on the beautiful Yangtze River.

There are 61 standard room and 2 deluxe suite in the ship, you could enjoy the magnificent landscapes when you pass by on the ship. With the restaurant, bar, fitness center and meeting room, it is very convenient for the guest to have some relex. All room equipped with central air-conditioner, satellite TV, telephone, you could easily contact with your family or friends within the room.

Voyage: Chongqing to Yichang
Days	Chongqing to Yichang (Down Stream)
Day 1	Transfer from airport (or from your hotel) to the cruiser, board on the ship before 22:00pm.
Day 2	Departs Chongqing at 09:00AM. Shore excursion to Fengdu Ghost City. -Fengdu is where the devil lives, according to Chinese legend. They say that spirits go to heaven, and evil goes to Fengdu. The town is overlooked by Ming Shan Hill, home of Tianzi, the King of the Dead. The whole place has an eerie feel to it with deserted streets, tower blocks, empty shops and banks. The only people here are those who make a living from visiting cruise boats.
Day 3	Shore excursion to Shennong Stream(10:00AM-13:30PM). - Shennong Stream is a small tributary of the Yangtze River, and its fast-flowing, crystal clear water runs southwards through deep gorges. The stream races past large and small karst caves, flocks of swallows, sheer cliffs, deep gorges, waterfalls, three-colored springs, rapids, the ancient plank path, a suspended coffin in the cliff, groups of ancient tombs and marvelous karst formations.
Day 4	Shore excursion to Three Gorges Dam site (08:00AM-10:00AM). Have lunch onboard. Arrives in Yichang at 13:30PM. - Three Gorges Dam, the largest water conservancy project ever undertaken by man and it has been a dream for several generations of Chinese people. The construction of the dam formally began in 1994. The body of the dam was completed in 2003, and the whole construction will be competed in 2009. It will be 2,335 meters long, 185 meters high, 18 meters wide on the top and 130 meters wide at the bottom.

The itineraries listed in the form probably be adjusted owing to the bad weather, water level, temporary navigation control and prohibition.

Aboard the cruise: You should arrive at Chongqing before 22:00PM to aboard the cruise on the first day. You can tell us your flight number (or train number) and arrival time, or hotel you stay in Chongqing. our guide will pick you up and drive you to the port to aboard the ship.

Note: There are only two beds in a cabin. Most of the ships do not provide extra bed, so you may need to reserve another cabin, or a half cabin (0.5 cabin) for the third person (for an adult or a big child) .
If you want to take a whole cabin for the third person, a single supplement of 75% to 100% of a single ticket is required. If you only take a half cabin, or only "a bed", the price is the same but he/she need to share the cabin with a stranger

Really enjoyed every minute of the cruise down Yangtze River. It was all about fun, relaxation and entertainment. The sightseeing was incredible too and I really loved it there. The itinerary was well organized and the shore excursion is of course highlight of the cruise too. Worth going!

Galaxy I Cruise is so luxurious and spectacular offering us a very comfortable environment. There are many tourists staying in it enjoyed the breathtaking sceneries alongside. Once met the Three Gorges Dam, I was completely conquered by the huge project and well-designed appearance. All the tourists are shouting and praising.
