Itinerary of 4 Days China Train Tour from Xian to Luoyang Travel

Day 1: Arrival in Xian (L, D)
1. Upon you arrive at Xian Railway Station or Xian Airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel in Xian.
2. After lunch, first drive you to Shaanxi Provincial History Museum. Then move on to Big Wild Goose Pagoda for a visit. Lastly drive you to the downtown Xian to visit the Great Mosque.
- Shaanxi Provincial History Museum: it is a giant architectural in the Tang-dynasty style and it successfully symbolizes the great extent of Shaanxi history and its remarkable culture.
- Big Wild Goose Pagoda: the symbol of the long history of Xian, and a well-preserved ancient building and holy worshipping shrine for Buddhists.
- Great Mosque: it is the biggest and most preserved complete Chinese existent mosque in Xian.
3. After dinner enjoy the Tang Dynasty Show. Then transfer you back to the hotel.
- Tang Dynasty show: a wonderful performance of the ancient music and dance, is a must when you visit Xian.

Day 2: Xian (B, L)
1. Pick up from your hotel, and you will first visit Terra Cotta Warriors (40 miles away from downtown).
- Terra Cotta Warriors: It is a part of the Qin emperor's tomb complex, the Terra Cotta Warriors is the greatest findings in the archeology world.
2. After a typical Chinese lunch, drive you back to the city center of Xian and visit the Ancient City Wall.
- Ancient City Wall: the most complete city wall survived in China as well as one of the largest ancient military defensive systems in the world.
3. After this tour, transfer you back to the hotel in Xian.

Day 3: Xian - Luoyang (L)
1. Pick you up from your hotel in Xian in the morning and then transferred to Xian Railway Station and take the high speed train to Luoyang in Henan Province.
2. On arrival in Luoyang, our tour guide will meet you at the railway station and then directly transfer you to the Shaolin Temple, the most famous attraction in Luoyang.
- Shaolin Temple: The birthplace of Shaolin Kongfu, the place offers great chance to enjoy the real Kung fu performance.
3. After the tour, transfer you to your hotel in Luoyang and free for the rest of the day.

Day 4: Luoyang (B, L)
1. Pick you up from your hotel in Luoyang, and drive you to visit the Longmen Grottoes.
- Longmen Grottoes: One of the three major grottoes in China with 1,352 caves, 785 niches, more than 97,000 statues of the Buddha.
2. After lunch, continue to visit Luoyang Museum, a city-level historical museum of China. Then move on to the White Horse Temple, the important cradle of China's Buddhism.
- White Horse Pagoda: is one of the oldest Buddhist temples in China and is renowned as the cradle of Chinese Buddhism.
3. After the tour, transfer you to Luoyang Airport or the Railway Station and see off.

Rating:
Excellent train trip from Xian to Luoyang, some ancient cities in China. Terracotta Warriors surely impressive with lots of army sculptures stand in their battle formation. It is a very incredible complex and also a sacred mysterious place. This tour is totally worth it! Plus it helps that we had a very knowledgeable and friendly guide. Thank you for all the service!
