Itinerary of 2 Days Luoyang Shaolin Tour with Hotel

Day 1: Luoyang (L)
First, we will pick you up from train station in Luoyang on the decided time and then you will visit Longmen Grottoes as the first destination. Enjoy many authentic sculptures inside and we will head to lunch after the visit. After lunch, you will visit Luoyang Museum. Then, we will head to the last destination of the day, White Horse Temple. After that, we will send you back to your hotel in Luoyang.
- Longmen Grottoes: most impressive Chinese Buddhist art collection, houses tens thousands of statues of Buddha.
- White Horse Pagoda: first Buddhist temple in China, considered as "the cradle of Chinese Buddhism".

Day 2: Shaolin (B, L)
Tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Luoyang and you will have a full day trip to Shaolin Temple. Visitors will not only enjoy the architecture of the building but also see many monk activities inside. After that, we will move to the Pagoda Forest, located just outside of the Shaolin Temple to visit the graveyard for monks through the ages. After that, we will send you back to Luoyang and this 2 days private tour end!
- Shaolin Temple: known as "Forest of Dagobas", it is also the cradleland of Chinese Kung Fu.

We got the tour two weeks before arrived to China. Overall it was a great trip and we got so much to see in our 2 days. We are so glad we had the opportunity to discover some of history of China and Shaolin. Without this tour I am sure my husband and I would not have pushed ourselves to do and see the things we did. I would highly recommend doing this trip, its a great way to see Luoyang.

The Grottoes was beautiful! Great experience that we had from this 2 days Luoyang tour! Great trip, fantastic locations. Our tour guide did a great job, very informative and told us about lots of history of the city and attractions. Overall, the trip was so organized and worth to take! I recommend this trip, we would not be able to see so much if travel on our own. Highly recommended.
