Itinerary of 2 Days China Train Tour from Shanghai to Hangzhou Travel

Day 1: Shanghai - Hangzhou (L)
1. Pick up from your hotel in Shanghai, and transfer to train station to take morning bullet train to Hangzhou.
2. Arrival at Hangzhou, you will be met and transferred to the first spot in Hangzhou - Lingyin Temple.
- Lingyin Temple: One of the ten famous Buddhist temples in China as well as the largest and most resplendent temple in Hangzhou.
3. After lunch, move on to Six Harmonies Pagoda.
- Six Harmonies Pagoda: This brick-and-wood pagoda is a masterpiece classical Chinese architecture with a vantage point for viewing Qiantang River.
4. End of this day, transfer to your hotel in Hangzhou.

Day 2: Hangzhou - Shanghai (B, L)
1. Pick up from your hotel in Hangzhou, and first visit West Lake (including the Island on the lake).
- West Lake: The pride of Hangzhou, the favorite scenic spot to escape from the hustle of the modern city.
2. After lunch, continue to visit the Meijiawu Tea Plantation and Tea Shop and Farmhouse Tea Shop to enjoy the Chinese ancient traditional tea culture.
3. End of this tour, transfer to train station in Hangzhou. Take train back to Shanghai.

Now, I thought 2 days tour exploring China is so short that there are many spots and destinations I have never explored, I think! Shanghai is another metropolis city sending out the unique modern tastes to the tourists! The West Lake in Hangzhou brought me a big surprise, soft, dazzling and charming!

One of the best tours that we had in China! After Shanghai, we move to Hangzhou, a city located close from Shanghai. Famous for its West Lake, Hangzhou is not only a beautiful city but also a relaxing and peaceful city. Our guide was so personable, informative, and engaging. Best way to see most attractions of Hangzhou. West Lake view was more than our expectation. It was so beautiful large complex of cultural relics with huge lake in the center of it. The tour was well organized, the service was good. Till the end, we enjoyed it and would definitely recommend the tour!
