Itinerary of Yangtze River & Three Gorges Tour - CH.Victoria Cruise

Days	Chongqing to Yichang (Down Stream)
Day 1	Transfer from airport (or from your hotel) to the cruiser, board on the ship before 22:00pm.
Day 2	Departs Chongqing at 09:00AM. Shore excursion to Fengdu Ghost City. - Fengdu is where the devil lives, according to Chinese legend. They say that spirits go to heaven, and evil goes to Fengdu. The town is overlooked by Ming Shan Hill, home of Tianzi, the King of the Dead. The whole place has an eerie feel to it with deserted streets, tower blocks, empty shops and banks. The only people here are those who make a living from visiting cruise boats.
Day 3	Shore excursion to Shennong Stream(10:00AM-13:30PM). - Shennong Stream is a small tributary of the Yangtze River, and its fast-flowing, crystal clear water runs southwards through deep gorges. The stream races past large and small karst caves, flocks of swallows, sheer cliffs, deep gorges, waterfalls, three-colored springs, rapids, the ancient plank path, a suspended coffin in the cliff, groups of ancient tombs and marvelous karst formations.
Day 4	Shore excursion to Three Gorges Dam site (08:00AM-10:00AM). Have lunch onboard. Arrives in Yichang at 13:30PM. - Three Gorges Dam, the largest water conservancy project ever undertaken by man and it has been a dream for several generations of Chinese people. The construction of the dam formally began in 1994. The body of the dam was completed in 2003, and the whole construction will be competed in 2009. It will be 2,335 meters long, 185 meters high, 18 meters wide on the top and 130 meters wide at the bottom.

The construction of the dam formally began in 1994. The body of the dam was completed in 2003, and the whole construction will be competed in 2009. It will be 2,335 meters long, 185 meters high, 18 meters wide on the top and 130 meters wide at the bottom.

The itineraries listed in the form probably be adjusted owing to the bad weather, water level, temporary navigation control and prohibition.

Crusier accommodations, three meals everyday, shore excursions specified on the itinerary. the accommodation is based on one standard bed per person.

Aboard the cruise: You should arrive at Chongqing before 22:00PM to aboard the cruise on the first day. You can tell us your flight number (or train number) and arrival time, or hotel you stay in Chongqing. our guide will pick you up and drive you to the port to aboard the ship.

Note: There are only two beds in a cabin. Most of the ships do not provide extra bed, so you may need to reserve another cabin, or a half cabin (0.5 cabin) for the third person (for an adult or a big child) .
If you want to take a whole cabin for the third person, a single supplement of 100% in May, Sept. and Oct. and the other months will be 75% to 100% of a single ticket is required. If you only take a half cabin, or only "a bed", the price is the same but he/she need to share the cabin with a stranger.

I have heard the magnificence of Three Gorges Dam from my friends. Last Month, accompanied by my girl friend, we took the Yangtze River Cruise enjoying the Three Gorges Dam and the sceneries along the Yangtze River. Once seeing the Three Gorges Dam, I was inspired by the magnificent atmosphere completely. Too many tourists shouted and praised. We really cannot understand our eyes. Tour guide gave us the detail explanation, extremely a marvelous project!

Just getting close to the Three Gorges Dam, I still cannot believe my eyes, so magnificent atmosphere! It is just like a picture hanging in my front. Mysterious atmosphere inspired every nerve of us. All of us shouted and give applause for skilful designing. Service on the cruise is perfect that I really gained much!

The river cruise I enjoyed on Yangtze was incredible and I really enjoyed it to its fullest. The scenery was breathtaking and it is really a fine piece of rural China! All I had to do during the cruise is just enjoy myself and have fun. Amazing!

Departure from Chongqing, I enjoyed the most unforgettable experience staying in the Victoria Cruise. Fengdu Ghost City is really a wonderful man-made land with deep mysterious feeling, very stimulating. In the beginning, I felt a little frightened but interesting later. So many tourists sharing experiences coming here, very perfect combination!
