Itinerary of Yangtze River China Cruise Tour - President No.3 Cruise (Splendid China)

Splendid China is the former President No. 3, it is one of the best cruiser in Yangtze River. The length of Splendid China is 91.8 meters, the width is 16.8 meters. The fastest speed is 32 kilometers each hour. You will never foget it when it come into your eyes, it is just like a Chinese palace.

Splendid China is very comfortable and safe, it could hold 168 guests with 7 standard room, 74 superior room and 1 deluxe suite, every superior room occupy 22.8 square meters with a window and twin beds.

Days	Chongqing to Yichang (Down Stream)
Day 1	Transfer from airport (or from your hotel) to the cruiser, board on the ship before 22:00pm.
Day 2	Departs Chongqing at 09:00AM. Shore excursion to Fengdu Ghost City. - Fengdu Ghost City: it is where the devil lives, according to Chinese legend. They say that spirits go to heaven, and evil goes to Fengdu. The town is overlooked by Ming Shan Hill, home of Tianzi, the King of the Dead. The whole place has an eerie feel to it with deserted streets, tower blocks, empty shops and banks. The only people here are those who make a living from visiting cruise boats.
Day 3	Shore excursion to Shennong Stream (10:00AM-13:30PM). - Shennong Stream: it is a small tributary of the Yangtze River, and its fast-flowing, crystal clear water runs southwards through deep gorges. The stream races past large and small karst caves, flocks of swallows, sheer cliffs, deep gorges, waterfalls, three-colored springs, rapids, the ancient plank path, a suspended coffin in the cliff, groups of ancient tombs and marvelous karst formations.
Day 4	Shore excursion to Three Gorges Dam site (08:00AM-10:00AM). Have lunch onboard. Arrives in Yichang at 13:30PM. - Three Gorges Dam: the largest water conservancy project ever undertaken by man and it has been a dream for several generations of Chinese people. The construction of the dam formally began in 1994. The body of the dam was completed in 2003, and the whole construction will be competed in 2009. It will be 2,335 meters long, 185 meters high, 18 meters wide on the top and 130 meters wide at the bottom.

The construction of the dam formally began in 1994. The body of the dam was completed in 2003, and the whole construction will be competed in 2009. It will be 2,335 meters long, 185 meters high, 18 meters wide on the top and 130 meters wide at the bottom.

Day 5	Arrives in Chongqing at 09:00AM.

The cruiser keeps the right to change and adjust the above itinerary in accordance with the temporal weather, navigation situation and other temporary occurrences.

Price Include:
Crusier accommodations, three meals everyday, shore excursions specified on the itinerary. The accommodation is based on one standard bed per person.

Aboard the cruise: You should arrive at Chongqing before 22:00PM to aboard the cruise on the first day. You can tell us your flight number (or train number) and arrival time, or hotel you stay in Chongqing. Our guide will pick you up and drive you to the port to aboard the ship.

Note: There are only two beds in a cabin. Most of the ships do not provide extra bed, so you may need to reserve another cabin, or a half cabin (0.5 cabin) for the third person (for an adult or a big child) .
If you want to take a whole cabin for the third person, a single supplement of 75% to 100% of a single ticket is required. If you only take a half cabin, or only "a bed", the price is the same but he/she need to share the cabin with a stranger.

First time experiencing the Yangtze River cruise tour, I really gained a lot widening my vision. The service offered is very considerate. I am just like a fish leisurely swimming on the water. The mountains are green and water sparkling. Three Gorges like the fairy wonder dropping on the earth creating a heaven-made atmosphere. I liked this kind of scenery very much!

Best river cruise experience I ever had in China! Yangtze River was as incredible as it could be! The views completely took my breath away on the cruise down Yangtze River! I really enjoyed every minute of it onboard or embarking on offshore excursions! The ship was all luxury and looked like a star hotel. I just would not have it any other way for my cruise in China!
