Yangshuo

Yangshuo is situated 65 kilometers to the southeast of Guilin, is an ancient city with a history of over 1,000 years. Yangshuo is famous not only for the attractive hills and waters there, but also for its abundant produce, particularly for such fruits as sweet orange, tangerine, pomelo and persimmon. Chestnuts which produced in Yangshuo are also well known for their excellent quality.

The area around Ynagshou is dotted with Karst peaks and the Li river meanders its way around them. The climater in Yangshuo is subtropical, with plenty of rainfall, sunlight.

Xingping

Xingping is an ancient town with a history of more than 1300 years. It is also an area where the best scenic sights along the Li River are to be found. There are such enchanting scenes as "Pretty Woman Looking in the Mirror", "General Drawing His Sword" and "Carp Drinking from the River".

Yangshuo West Street

Yangshuo West Street is located at the center of Yangshuo County and is the oldest street in Yangshuo with a history of more than 1,400 years. It is the most prosperous district in Yangshuo and each year, approximately 100,000 foreigners come here on travels or for advanced studies.

Yangshuo West Street is 517 meters long and 8 meters wide, meandering in an 'S'-shaped. Being completely paved with marble, it is a typical example of a southern China street.  Various folk- custom stores, craftworks shops, painting and calligraphy stores, backpack shops, cafes, and Chinese Kung Fu academies jostle for attention. West Street does not only provide visual satisfaction but tourists but also there are foods from all over the world; ciba (a kind of Chinese rice cake) and rice noodle of Yangshuo, authentic Italian coffee, banana cake, Western style food, etc.

Yangshuo Moon Mountain: Moon Cave is named for it's giant archway (about 50 metres,980steps). It is a famous sight in Yangshuo.

--Yangshuo Big Banyan Tree: Big Banyan Tree, located 7.5km south of Yangshuo, is one of the main scenic attractions of Yangshuo county. It is said that the banyan was planted in the Jin Dynasty(1115-1234) and is famous for its age and towering beauty.The banyan tree is now 17 meters high, 7.1 meters around the trunk, and covers an area of 1000 square meters.
