The Tour We Join: Xian Private Day Tour: Huashan Mountain

Our short break to the famous Mount Hua nearby Xian was memorable and priceless! Just for recommendation, do not hike in winter because the weather could be cold enough. Not recommended for kids or elder travelers here because the hiking trails really steep and narrow in some parts.

Huashan

Mount Hua can be reached from Xian for about one and half hours drive. Arrived at Mount Hua, we entered from the entrance gate and were recommended to take the cable car up to the North Peak, and that was what we did.

Huashan

From the North Peak, we should have continue to hike up for enjoy more beautiful views. Best visit on weekdays when less crowded because the hiking trails seem little bit dangerous and almost vertical.

Huashan

Here it is vertical stairs that we should hike for more stunning views above. The vertical stairs with two chains was amazing. I should be really careful to climb it.

Huashan

Mount Hua or Huashan in Chinese, is one of the five sacred mountains of China. The original trail was built and used by Taoist monks over 1000 years ago. Mount Hua consists of five peaks with the highest South Peak at 2161 meters.

Huashan

Reached south peak at 2161 meters which are surrounded by lots of red padlocks hanging on the chain.  In fact, lots of visitors were able to hike till this peak and marked it with leave their name on it.

Huashan

Moreover besides hard hiking trails, we can feel the spiritual sense presented by the natural world, the temples, the sacred symbols, and ancient writings in surroundings. We were very satisfied for what that I did, It was all worth for such an amazing view that we could get.

This time was my second visit to China and my choice was Xian. Xian is an ancient capital of China, become famous for its reign of Tang Dynasty. But apart from Tang Dynasty, Xian has become so popular for its Terracotta Army, a large burial complex of Qin emperor (the First Emperor of China).

Terracotta Warriors

Terracotta Army is one of the most fabulous archaeological reserves in the world. This is the Pit 1 where we could see 2,000 clay warriors and horses, the largest of the three pits.

Terracotta Warriors

Visitors could have a close look for the details of unique facial expressions and positioned which different from one to another.

Terracotta Warriors

Thousand clay soldiers were buried with China's first emperor, Qin Shi Huang Di, to accompany him during his eternal rest. From our guide we could knew a lot about facts of this unbelievable historical site, such as there was more than 700,000 laborers worked on the project which order by the Qin emperor shortly after taking the throne.

Terracotta Warriors

Together with my family, we explored all of the whole area of this huge tomb. We could personally felt some mysterious feeling around. That site was amazing and a little bit sacred!

Huaqing Hot Spring

After that, we continued our tour to Huaqing Hot spring, the place that known was an imperial bathing pool with long romantic love story during Tang Dynasty of China. Overall, the hot spring was beautiful with lots of picturesque scenery and old buildings. Overall, we had a nice and organized 1 day city tour in Xian, short tour but meaning a lot for us. Thank you for this arrangement.
