The Dujiangyan Irrigation System is an ancient water management system that has survived up to the present day. It uses natural topographic and hydrological features to solve problems of diverting water for irrigation, draining sediment, flood control, and flow control.

Sichuan Giant Pandas Nature Reserve covers an area of 9,245 square kilometers and contains seven nature reserves as well as nine scenic parks in the Qionglai and Jiajin mountains. It has known as the earliest, largest and best-known Giant Panda reserve in China.
Among seven nature reserves, Wolong Nature Reserve is the favorite. It is a research and breeding center where pandas could live and raise in their nature place.
