Big Wild Goose Pagoda
Most Representative Attraction in Xian
Becomes one of the most representative attractions in Xian, Big Wild Pagoda was built in 652 during the Tang Dynasty. It is one of the most famous Buddhist pagodas in China. In total, it has 7 stories which are 60 meters in height. On the fifth floor, there exhibit the tablet of the footmark of Sakyamuni. It is said that seeing the foot mark is as seeing the Buddha, and worshiping this foot mark is as worshiping the Buddha.
Along the stairs twist up the pagoda to the seventh floor, visitors can overlook the panorama of Xian from the arch-shaped doors. Big Wild Pagoda now regarded as the symbol of ancient China and great significance in Buddhism in China, one interesting and impressive site that you should not miss in Xian.
Huaqing Hot Spring
Most Famous Imperial Bath Pool
Huaqing Hot spring which has its 3,000 year history is a famous imperial bathing pool with its Tang Dynasty architecture style and design. It was built by emperor Xuanzong in Tang Dynasty as a part of Huaqing Palace. It is famous as the supposed scene of Xuanzong's romance with his consort Yang Guifei.
Today, Huaqing Hot spring has become an important tourist spot which famous for both its stunning scenic views and the romantic love story of Xuanzong emperor and his concubine Yang Guifei.
