You must know West Lake (Xihu), the most famous destination in the city. West Lake is beautiful and surely attracts countless visitors each day. Lingyin Temple
Located north-west of Hangzhou, Lingyin Temple is one of the most significant and beautiful Buddhist monasteries in China. "Ling-yin" is meaning "Soul's Retreat" in Chinese, it is one of the largest and wealthiest Buddhist temples in China. There contains numerous pagodas and Buddhist grottoes all over the complex.
Lingyin Temple is a home for an intensive collection of artifacts and treasure related to the religion. There even situated China largest wooden sitting Buddha sits inside the main hall, which towers over 36 metres. Every day, the temple not only attracts visitors but it also becomes the sacred place for local to worship.

Grand Canal – Xiaohe Street
With total land area of 127,000 square meters, Xiaohe Street is located at the junction of the Grand Canal, Xiaohe River and Yuhangtang River. The street had been the land and water transportation center for commercial event. At present, the street still preserves the ancient workshops, stores, wharfs and other historical relics.

Leifeng Pagoda
Known as one of the top attractions in Hangzhou, Leifeng Pagoda is located on Sunset Hill south of the West Lake in Hangzhou. It is an octagonal five-story tall tower with historical stories and interesting legends going along all the time. Has one of the interesting destinations in the West Lake complex, Leifeng Pagoda also famous because of the Legend of the White Snake.
The legend tells of a young scholar who falls in love with a beautiful woman who in fact she is a white snake who has taken on human form. A monk intervenes in order to save the scholar's soul and casts the white snake into a deep well at the Lei Feng Pagoda. Since then, Legend of the White Snake is also become famous and it even makes as the major subject of several Chinese movie and TV series.

Six Harmony Pagoda
Six Harmony Pagodas is located on Yuelun Hill, to the south of West Lake. It has the overlook to the Qiantang River. The buildings are shows ancient Chinese architecture. There is a spiral staircase leading to the top floor where you could enjoy a nice view of the surrounding mountains, the Qiantang River and Qiantang River Great Bridge. Each of the seven ceilings are carved and painted with a variety of vivid figures including: animals, flowers, birds, and characters.
