Lying below Spark Lake Waterfall, this lake gets the name from the two zonary calc-sinter roofs hidden in the bottom of this lake, which are just like two vigorous dragons, flying and lingering. There is legend about this lake that in the ancient times, there are two evil dragons always come up to destroy the local common people and hurt the local Tibetan lifestyle and their customs. One day, one hero called King Gesar faced down these and locked them in the lake by the iron chains. After that, this lake always presented unique tranquil and peace. Among these natural lakes of Shuzheng Valley, the largest one will be the Xiniu Lake. Also, this lake was formed experiencing a story that in the ancient times, there is lama riding on the Xiniu. One day, he got an ill seriously. After drinking the water of this lake, his body gradually recovered day by day. He liked this scenery and environment very much that he was reluctant to leave. At last, he decided to live here forever with his Xiniu. So, this lake was named as Xiniu Lake. Apart from this, this lake is the most changeable lake.
