The Flower Stream in the park is nestled among a couple of mountains. Among the mountains, Kylin Mountain boasts as the highest one and famous for its rich collection of grotesque rocks which resemble the horns of Kylin (a legendary animal in China). The visitors can climb up to the mountain top and reach a pavilion built upon the mountain. And standing upon the mountain top, the visitors can get a sweeping view of the whole park. The park houses a large number of flower beds, farmlands, bridges, flowing water, pavilions and villas, earning the park as one of the top tourist attractions in Guiyang. The Turtle Mountain stands at the heart of Huaxi Park. And the Flower Stream flows right beneath the foot of the mountain.

In addition, the best way to explore the park would be taking a boat on a lake or pond in the park to enjoy the scenery on the move. Moreover, there is an outstanding tourist attraction in the park which is not to be missed by anyone--Baibu Bridge. The bridge spans over the river and forms much of a marvel to the eyes. Walking on the benches will bring a lot of fun to the visitors. Near the Baibu Bridge stands a small villa which is nestled among trees and decorated with red tiles and green eaves. There is also a pavilion for playing Chinese chess and is believed that the General Chen Yi once wrote a poem about the pavilion.

All in all, Huaxi Park will be worthy of your money and time during travel in Guiyang.
