Snow Jade Cave – Yangtze River Cruise
Snow Jade Cave or also known as Xueyu Cave is located in Chongqing Municipality near the city of Fengdu. It is one of the youngest caves in China and has a unique geographic position near the banks of the Yangtze River. So, if you get a cruising tour along Yangtze River, then Snow Jade Cave could be one of the destinations along your cruise besides Fengdu Ghost City.
The whole cave actually has over 1,644 kilometers long. But there has been constructed a tourist route for viewing the cave, stretching about hundreds of meters on different levels. Snow Jade Cave has many unique features. Most of the stalactites in the cave are as white as jade, which makes the cave named the Snow Jade Cave. The natural sculptures found inside are also form unique shapes with different appearances. Besides, the stalactites here can grow 33 millimeters in 100 years, they grow more quickly than others. On the contrary, stalactites in other such kind of caves only develop one millimeter in the same period of time.

Reed Flute Cave – Guilin
Located in the northwest of Guilin, about 5 kilometers from downtown area, Reed Flute Cave is a cave system with stunning rock formations, stalagmites and stalactites. The natural limestone cave got its name from the grass reeds growing near it, from which flutes are made. It has become one of the famous tourist destinations in Guilin.
The cave is about 240 meters long features different shapes and sizes and regarded as "the Palace of Natural Arts". You will take about one hour tour explore the cave where you could see many beautiful stalagmites and stalactites equipped with an artificial lighting system. They display spectacular natural beauties with its various colors.

Tenglong Cave - Hubei Province
Located 7 km from Lichuan City, Hubei Province, Tenglong Cave is a cave cluster, comprised of a dry cave and a water cave as its main scene. The cave entrance is 74 meters and 64 meters wide, leading to 59.8 km (37.2 mi) of passageways. It has known as one of the largest karsts caves that China has discovered so far and even regarded as the largest dry cave in Asia.
The cave is toured in open-top electric vehicles to get the full effect of the magnificent sights and cascading waterfalls. Theatric performances are put on for visitors at the end of the tour. This large and marvelous show cave has been open to tourists for many years. Although it is open all year long, but I recommend April and May as the best time to visit Tenglong Cave.
