Categoris of the ticket
Tickets for Shanghai World Expo voted for individuals and teams a total of nine kinds in two categories. Individual tickets are divided into the designated day tickets and daily tickets. Designated day tickets are divided into designated day ordinary tickets and designated day discount tickets; daily ticket falls into ordinary tickets, discount tickets, thrice tickets, seven-times tickets and night tickets in total of 5 species. Sub-team tickets falls into general team tickets and student-teams tickets.
Shanghai World Expo will be no free tickets, in addition, children that height below 1.2 meters (including 1.2 m) free of charge, other visitors are required to purchase admissions.

Ticket Prices
The ticket pricing of Shanghai World Expo will be based on the integrated economic development in China in recent years, the actual situation of urban and rural income levels and the ticket prices of similar activities in our country and abroad and other factors. The benchmark tickets price for Shanghai World Expo will be 160 yuan. The benchmark price has been written in "Shanghai World Expo Registration Report" adopted by the International Exhibitions Bureau in December 2005.

Shanghai World Expo ticket price system as follows:
Daily normal ticket price is 160 RMB, daily discount ticket is 100 yuan; appointed day ordinary ticket price is 200 RMB, appointed day discount ticket is 120 yuan; Night ticket is 90 RMB; 3 times and 7 times ticket price  respectively are 400 yuan and 900 yuan, price for a single visit is around 8 off of daily normal ticket price.

Phase of ticket sales
Shanghai World Expo will be divided into pre-sale and duration sales period. Pre-sale is divided into three different pre-sale periods, to buy tickets in different periods can enjoy the corresponding discount.
♦Pre-Phase I: March 27, 2009 to June 30, 2009. Sale designated day ordinary tickets and Daily normal tickets to the departments, enterprises and social organizations and other organizations.
♦Pre-Phase II: July 1, 2009 to December 31, 2009. Sell designated day ordinary tickets and Daily normal tickets to Groups and individuals.
♦Pre-Phase III: January 1, 2010 to April 30, 2010. Sell appointed day ordinary tickets, appointed day discount tickets, daily normal tickets, daily discount tickets, 3 times and 7 times tickets to groups and individuals.
♦Duration: May 1, 2010 to October 31, 2010. Sell appointed day ordinary tickets, appointed day discount tickets, daily normal tickets, daily discount tickets, 3 times and 7 times tickets, night tickets to groups and individuals.
Ordinary team tour tickets sell as the form of World Expo Expo tourism products through the designated travel agencies. Student group tickets sell as the form of students tourism products through the designated travel agencies or through educational institutions. 

Ticket sales channels
Tickets for Shanghai World Expo will be sell through self-designated agency, the World Expo tour designated travel agencies and other channels.
People abroad can buy tickets through the ticketing sales channels provided by the ticket sales agents which appointed by Shanghai World Expo in your country or region. May 1, 2010 Shanghai World Expo will be the opening day, you can also buy tickets through on-site outlets, self-service ticket vending machines and other methods.
