Qinhuai River

Qinhuai River Covered with SnowQinhuai River is a branch of the great Yangtze River, it is 110 kilometers and cover an area of 2631 square kilometers. The river was originally called Huai River, and it is said that the river was flow to Nanjing during the reign of Emperor Qin Shi Huang, so it was named Qin Huai River from then on.

Qinhuai River is the largest river in Nanjing. There are many famous attractions along the banks of Qinhuai River, such as Confucius Temple, Zhanyuan Garden, etc..
