Guilin tour story: the picture of the Ganoderma Fairy coming down to earth

Almost every tourist in Guilin tour knows the Li River Bay (Lijiang Wan), which relies on the Li River. There are many fabulous landscapes here, and one of them is the picture of the Ganoderma Fairy coming down to earth.
The picture of the Ganoderma Fairy coming down to earth is a natural fresco on the mountain, and there’s also a legend about how it came up.
It was said the people in Yongsuli were all very rich, and the business all around through the canal ferry was very flourishing. There was a demon named Luoyin who quite envied those rich people as he had unrecognized talents, so he destroyed the feng shui in Yongsuli with his magic pen. Since then every year it would be a disaster here, either flood or drought. After the Queen Mother of the West knew about this she was very angry, so she sent the Ganoderma Fairy to go down to earth and save those people in Yongsuli. But when the Ganoderma Fairy came to Yongsuli, she fell in love with a young man named fishing boy. One day the Queen Mother went on a tour of inspection in the temporal world, and she found this, so she ordered the Ganoderma Fairy to return to the sky palace at once. However the Ganoderma Fairy would not comply with her, which made the Queen Mother get in a pet. So she turned the Fishing Boy to a lotus stone.
The Ganoderma Fairiy was very sad, so she caved her beautiful silhouette on a cliff, and turned herself to a bird calling the Fishing Boy’s name day and night.
There was another legend about the Ganoderma Fairy, which said that one time three brothers came to chop firewood on the mountain, and it happened to be the time that Luoyin destroy the feng shui here. The mountains fell and the earth splits, the second brother fell off the mountain and was almost dead. The oldest brother had nothing to do but pray to the sky. At this time, the Ganoderma Fairy happened to be sent here from the sky palace, so she saved the second brother’s life with a hanoderma.
