Manting Park(Chunyuan Park)

Located in Jinghong, Manting Park is also known as Chunhuan Park in local Dai minority language, means Garden of Spirits. It is the oldest park in Xishuangbanna, and used to be a royal garden of Dai kingdom. Now it becomes a park of royal palace and religious culture. Xishuangbanna general monastery and the institute of Buddhism Temple with the highest status in Xishuangbanna is situated here. Many trees and ornamental plants growing in it providing people with a good rest place. The park often holds royal and ethnic dance evening. Tourists may join them in singing and dancing while having typical Dai food and rice wine in the park.
