Listed as one of the World Heritage Sites by UNESCO, Yungang Grottoes has located in the Wuzhou Mountain, Datong City. It is a masterpiece of Buddhist cave art which took 50 years to finish it. Yungang Grottoes created by Tan Yao offer interesting layout and design. It combines traditional Chinese art forms with foreign influence, particularly Greek and Indian.

In total, Yungang Grottoes consists of 252 caves of various sizes housing more than 51,000 statues. The tallest Buddha sculpture which located in the area called Big Buddha Cave. Offer ancient old Buddhist culture and design, Yungang Grottoes attracts more visitors to come day by day.

Chengde Mountain Resort

Chengde Mountain Resort known as a summer resort and hunting ground for the Qing’s emperors. It offers imperial architecture styles which combines gardens and temples blend harmoniously into a landscape of lakes, pastureland and forests. Covering an area of 5,640,000 square meters, Chengde Mountain Resort is the largest extant imperial garden and temple complex in China.

The Mountain Resort consists of the palace area and the landscape. The Palace Area was the place where emperor lived, handled administrative matters and held ceremonies. It is consisted of four groups of buildings, including the Main Hall, the Songhe Hall, the Wanhe Songfeng Palace, and the East Palace. Another part of this Mountain Resort consist Lake Area, Plain Area and the Mountain Area. With a traditional Chinese architecture style, Chengde Mountain Resort has attracted a lot of visitors, local or foreigners.
