What to Do in Hangzhou?
Hangzhou is a peaceful city which famous for its stunning West Lake and of course for its garden landscapes. So, a visit to Hangzhou, West Lake is a must visit place.
More than that, there are other attractions and interesting activities to do like:
- Excursion to the Grand Canal, the longest man-made canal in world.
- Excursion to Wuzhen Water Town, one hour drive from Hangzhou, preserved ancient buildings and town layout.
- Visit Lingyin Temple and Six Harmonies Pagoda, two most representative attractions in Hangzhou

Best Time to Visit Hangzhou
The best seasons to visit Hangzhou are spring and autumn, from the late March, April, May and then in September October and early November. Avoid large crowds in Hangzhou during school vacation and public holidays.
Since not far from city downtown, it is convenient for you to get the city center from the airport. There are two shuttle bus lines connecting the airport and the city center. It takes you about an hour to the city center. Ticket price: RMB20.
