Nowadays, it also attracted lot of modern photographers. Become one of the major tourist attractions in China, Huangshan provides various facilities and access to reach the mountain. Today there are also cable cars that tourists can use to ride directly from the base to one of the summits of Yellow Mountain.

It is the location of the first Buddhist temple built in China of the summit of Mount Emei. Over centuries, built a lot of Buddhist temple spread over the mountain and the most remarkable is the Giant Buddha of Leshan. At 71 m high, it is the largest Buddha sculpture in the world.
