Confucius Mansion

Confucius Mansion is located in the east of the Temple of Confucius, the city center of Qufu City. It is a representation of the ancient construction. The area of Confucius Mansion was enlarged during Song, Ming and Qing Dynasty(960-1911). Nowadays, the area of Confucius Mansion is 7.4 hektare and covers 480 various building.

Confucious is one of the greatest philosopher in the world. He is the founder of Confucianism. Confucianism is the orthodoxy ideology in China's history and it is spead to many countries of East Asia. Confucianism is the cornerstone of oriental culture.

Confucius Mansion, Confucius Forest and the Temple of Confucius in Qufu, Shandong Province are the best place to learn Chinese history and Chinese culture.
