Harbin is one of China coldest city and the temperature in January often drops to -20 degrees Celsius. Despite those bone-chilling conditions, Harbin annually host Harbin International Ice and Snow Sculpture Festival which traditionally beginning on January fifth and lasting one month. Here, massive ice blocks are carved into various fancy castles, buildings and sculptures. As the evening descends, these ice creations are lit up from inside and the show it displays is a delight for any eye and camera!
