We only got one week time in China and that was why I choose this tour line. 6 days Beijing and Xian tour was going so fast, seems little bit short and not enough to explore more about others historical sites in both cities. But never mind, we keep used our time efficiently and great! Basically, we explored all the most famous attractions in the capital. Those attractions include Great Wall, Forbidden City, Summer Palace etc without one less.

The structures of Great Wall and Forbidden City were amazing and so Chinese. Enjoyed the explanation that we got from our guide a lot. I even learned so many history and culture of China with this 6 days tour, in Beijing and Xian, two ancient capital of China. The most favorite attraction of mine was Summer Palace. It was just different with others historical sites in both cities. The huge garden is also offers the stunning landscapes and relaxing feeling, not only its rich historical story or background. Summer Palace was used as the royal garden of Qing Dynasty, a summer escape place for emperor.

Late Spring Scenery in Summer Palace

In the center of the garden, there has a large manmade lake where people can ride the boat enjoying the scenery around. We could not even know the history before joined the tour. What the history of Summer Palace? How Summer Palace built? And why? From the guide, we knew all of the history behind its stunning garden. After a few minutes that we spent wandering the park we finally got into a long hallway which located near from the lake.

Summer Palace was an ideal place for an escape when summer comes, the air was fresh and cooler than the outside. Till now, I could not believe that the garden was built for only a relaxing place for the empress, used the military fund to restore the Summer Palace. Never mind, in fact the garden was a beautiful place for sure.

Old Xian City

Different from Beijing, when we were in Xian, we did see different side of China. I just directly could tell the different between Beijing and Xian. Because during the tour I am personally interested in history and the stories behind those attractions, so I heard all the tour guides explanations very clearly. It was an interesting experience to know about China history, very unique and complicated too. A worthwhile tour to join!

What a memorable trip! Guilin is the place where you could find the beautiful nature scenery of China! The river, karsts landscapes, clear water, fresh air all of the things in Guilin are my favorite. I love the environment and its scenery views! Just breathtaking!

Colorful Reed Flute Cave

From the trip began, our tour guide picked us up on time at the airport. We just directly visited Reed Flute Cave, a beautiful nature cave with multicolored lighting before transferred us to the hotel in Guilin. The hotel was comfortable, clean and full with advanced facilities. On the second day, we did visit Longji Terraced Field in Longsheng which located little bit far from the downtown.

The roads to Longji terraced field itself are narrow and winding. We took 2 and half hours to reach the area. We hiked up to the mountains, enjoyed our journey and saw stunning sceneries around. Words alone cannot really describe the scenery. It was so beautiful even I think I’m walking through a fantasy land. I have never seen rice terraces as impressive as these, a complete and huge one. Once you stand on the top, there you will see large green rice paddies as far as you could see. We did also can see a beautiful Pingan village. The atmosphere and everything there was just really great, far from the city, no car, no pollution, no bikes, just us and nature.

Minority Performance in Sanjiang Town

Longji Terraced Field is just one of the highlight of our trip. Besides, we also did visit Sanjiang town to see the old and unique building architecture of the local Dong ethnic minorities. We could see Chengyang Wind & Rain Bridge and the Drum Tower which are the symbol of architecture from Dong ethnic people. And once again we could felt, we were back to nature. That was very relaxing trip! We only saw the village, terraces, old buildings, local people, without car and less crowded.

Li River to Yangshuo Cruise Tour

In additional, the cruise trip through Li River to Yangshuo was memorable and enjoyable. Yangshuo is a beautiful country side with the combination of clear rivers and magnificent karsts peaks. Perfect landscape! Could not describe it by words. On the last day, we did also visit the symbol of Guilin, a must visit place of the city, Elephant Trunk Hill. The enjoyment of this trip is to exploring many natural beauties as well as to discover the local culture. I am just very satisfied with the service and our destination choice, Guilin!

That was my second time visit China. The first trip to China was two years ago, we had a trip to Beijing. And last month, we decided to back to China again and we choose Xian. Xian is an ancient city, yes I knew it even before we got the trip. The famous Terracotta Warriors was really attractive, that was one of our reasons why we did choose Xian.

The tour overall was similar as our expectation and imagination. We could visit several historical attractions in Xian only with our limited time and got to know more about China and the city itself. From the airport pick up which was on time and the whole itinerary and schedule was very efficient.

Big Wild Goose Pagoda

On the first day after we met our guide, we could visit Shaanxi Provincial Museum and Big Wild Goose Pagoda. After that, on the evening, we also did see a fabulous and rich Tang Dynasty Show. The show is a must show that everyone should see when come to Xian. It told everyone who come about the image of China under Tang dynasty reign. The music and dance performance of ancient time we could see together with beautiful costumes that performers wore. Excellent show!

Large Scale of Terracotta Warriors

On the second day, we really could visit Terracotta Army and City Wall, the highlights of the tour. I like and amazed by the atmosphere and image of the huge mausoleum complex. A great and unbelievable project of ancient China! Once entered the complex, we did see thousands of armies which has different face expression and outlook between one and another. They formed into a battle formation look like ready to protect their emperor after life. I just could not imagine how to build it at past. Just impressive and magnificent! Amazing!

The atmosphere inside the tomb was really sacred and mysterious I think. I did not really know why but I was felt kind of scared. Although we did visit many other destinations after that include Famen Temple and Qianling Mausoleum, but Terracotta Army is the best! I think it is very worth and ideal to make the mausoleum complex as one of the World Heritage and one of the seven wonders. Really happy to finally make it, the trip! Memorable experience, I would never forget it surely. Thank you for such a great arrangements for me and family! Appreciate it.
