My Short Experiences Explore Beijing by Eufemio Martinez Cintron

January12

The tour that I booked from this local travel agency was ideal with very comprehensive itinerary. Since we only have short time in Beijing then this 4 days Beijing group tour was really suitable for us. For me, a visit to Beijing surely should not miss 2 iconic sites, Great Wall and Forbidden City. So our tour should be included a visit to those attractions. Then finally we choose this tour complete with accommodation.

At the first day of our tour, driver picked us up at the exit gate of Beijing airport holding a sign name of me. Arrived on time and the service was really reliable. Although driver who picked us cannot speak English, but he was really helpful and looks friendly. Anyway, we reached hotel safely. On the second day, we did visit Great Wall. Not really special actually, but it was nice to personally have a close look to the magnificent and famous Great Wall of China. That was like a dream comes true.

Mutianyu Great WallLike No Visitors on Mutianyu Great Wall

Mutianyu Great Wall is a really recommended section for visit. Although it is takes longer to get there, the Mutianyu section is a lot less busy and offers spectacular views as it is located in the mountains. We took the cable car up, it was cold and there is plenty of walking to do on the wall itself. Once on the wall you can spend a few hours walking up and down this section, took some pictures and memorize the moments.

Next magical place is Forbidden City. Although during those 4 days, we did visit lots of cultural sites around such as Summer Palace, Temple of Heaven or Ming Tombs etc. But, Forbidden City still is my best! According UNESCO, Forbidden City has listed as one of World Heritage sites as the largest collection of ancient wooden structures in the world. With beautiful buildings, gardens, museums and palaces inside the city walls, so in fact, I should prepare more time for exploring. Such a pity! We did not have that much time!

Here, we could have a close look to its authentic architecture details which are so impressive. Although for mostly people the building inside Forbidden City looks quite similar, but for me there were just amazing and magical. For art lovers, really recommended for allow yourself a minimum of half a day to stroll around and soak in the fantastic royal culture and design around you. Take in the diverse architectural styles of different eras and admire centuries of incredible antiques and art works which will take your breath away.

Beijing Travel within 3 Days by Caroline Marrero

January11

Do you think it is impossible for travelling Beijing within 3 days? Beijing is a home for lots impressive historic sites and if you have a chance visit it then you can understand deeper about Chinese history and culture by explore it in ideal way. With our Beijing 3 days tour, we begin to learn about all of China including its culture and ancient architecture. Moreover, 3 days tour gave us really excellent experience starting to know about the country.

Here is our tour itinerary, the first day we did visit Great Wall and Ming Tombs (located outside Beijing), so it is more convenient and has benefit on its transportation. On the second day, we did visit Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven and Summer Palace. Visiting the Great Wall and the Forbidden City which served as the Chinese imperial palace, home to the emperors and their extensive households for almost 500 years was great opportunity to understand more about China ancient time history.

During a tour to Forbidden City, we got an excellent tour guide named Tina who told us about the goings-on behind the palace walls during ancient times. The fact that no one could enter or leave the palace without emperor permission, make us imagine how lived inside this huge palace (more than a city I think). More than a lot of story that we heard, we did also found plenty of impressive and beautiful architectural details.

Hutong Beijing with its Traditional Architecture

On the third day of our tour, we had the opportunity to explore Hutongs Beijing in depth. What is Hutong? Before we talked about Hutong, we would like to tell you that overall our tour went smoothly. Time goes by and we could not be more appreciates it. Hutongs is the place where visitors could see life style of traditional Beijing people. It is a small line which houses many old residents of local people. I even got nice experience for taking a traditional vehicle called rickshaw for exploring this old complex of Beijing. So, if you say there is no more traditional house in Beijing, you will find it in Hutongs.

On the third day (our last day), we also could explore Beijing Zoo, Lama Temple, and Olympic Stadium. Although that was only a short stop, but we quite have a good knowledgeable of all and that was a really great. I cannot believe our tour in Beijing went so fast, I even cannot believe I actually went to China! Looking for another chance visit China next time!

Impressive 12 Days Long Holiday around China! by Helena

May31

For almost 2 weeks, we did explore China famous tourism cities include Beijing, Xian, Shanghai, Guilin and Hong Kong with this tour. My family and I were so excited the day before we started our trip. That was a long trip, 12 days explored all the attractive historical and cultural relics around China. Next time if we would like to come to China, Lhasa is our next destination.

About the trip, my family and I, in total of 6 people of us, 4 adults and 2 kids, we were so satisfied with all the itineraries. The trip is ideal for everyone who wants to explore the most famous tourist attractions around the country. With this tour we were able to visit Great Wall, Terracotta Army, The Bund, Guilin, and many other World Heritage Sites and even Hong Kong as our last destination.

I love all the cities that we could visit during the tour. Everything was so Chinese. I know the basic history, some culture as well as the modern aspects in each city. That was my first time come to China, and I am happy with the tour that I joined. Among all the favorite cities, I think Guilin was my favorite among the best. It might because Guilin offers more nature landscapes than other attractions. Yangshuo and Li River were ideal attractions to relaxing and vacation. The atmosphere, air and landscapes were just so supportive between each other.

YangshuoBeautiful Mountain and Water Scenery in Yangshuo

Might be Guilin is my favorite for vacation but not for live, that was my first thought about that beautiful city. So, why I love Guilin at most? There is no other answer because I love the atmosphere. It was so calm, peaceful with bunch of fresh air, near from nature, and everything was so real and natural.

A trip to Yangshuo, Elephant Trunk Hill, Reed Flute Cave was so memorable and interesting. From this tour, I also could know that I prefer nature better than history. I choose nature more than ancient place, water, mountain and tress more than significant historical places. A lot of things we did see and learn after joined the tour. We had a memorable trip with family that was so organized and was not disappointing. Thank you for the trip and everything.
