So, my trip with family, in total of 7 people of us began our journey from the capital. Of course, we did visit Great Wall, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven and many others significant attractions around the city before transferred to Lhasa. After full 2 days trip explore Beijing, on the fourth day, we took a long train journey to Lhasa. We arrived at Lhasa on the next day. In fact, our guide and the trip advisors were already told me about mountain sickness (commonly happen to people who visit Tibet) before the tour. So we could prepare for the worst. Luckily, all of my family members were health, nothing bad happened, only sometimes hard to sleep at night. Some tips you should notice when you are in Lhasa is never get too much tired, do not do something over energetic.

All our efforts, time and everything were so worth! Lhasa is a beautiful place, kind of mysterious. Along the way, our guide always with us guided us well to the famous attractions at the same time, gave us some tips when we were in the city. Our guide was a local people who very informative and glad to share lots of information about Lhasa. We had no worries for travelling Lhasa. Although the city was little bit remote, old and mysterious but I enjoyed the atmosphere, feel so different from other cities in China.

Potala PalaceMajestic Potala Palace - The Highest Palace on Earth

Over the next couple of days we visited Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Sera Monastery, Barkhor Street, Norbulingka Park etc. All of them were incredible but the Potala Palace was truly breathtaking both mentally and physically. I was lucky to be honored with the opportunity to witness such devotion in the most incredible temples and palace. It was a priceless experience I will never forget.

At last after Lhasa, we also had a chance to admire the modern city of Shanghai. It was a beautiful city where I saw the old and new Shanghai at the same time. Thank you for the nice arrangements so we can have a chance to visit those 3 famous cities around China! Appreciate!

Our Amazing Silk Road Adventure! by Lilian

July23

Actually the trip was purely a Silk Road trip because it also include a trip to several famous tourism cities around China include Beijing, Xian and Shanghai as our last destination. We could visit many interesting and really famous attractions in those three cities, surely for example Great Wall, Terracotta Army etc. Might because of that, I did not feel really bored about all the ancient and really old attractions we did visit along Silk Road, the legendary business route which passed through some cities in China.

Ancient Gaochang RuinsThe Ancient Gaochang Ruins

Our Silk Road Trip began with a trip in Beijing. After about 4 days we spend in the capital, we moved to begin discover the Silk Road. First, from Beijing we took the flight to Urumqi, then drove to Kashgar to visit Sunday Market, Id Kah Mosque, the Old Street and Abakh Khoja Tomb. Before we joined the tour, we did not even know what places we are going to visit. We only knew with this trip we would get different experience that everyone could not feel without visit Silk Road. After that, we did visit Turpan and Dunhuang. We learnt a lot and saw a lot of interesting ancient sites include Gaochang Ruins, Jiaohe Ruins, Echoing-Sand Dune, Mogao Grottoes etc. My family and I, we did see lots of historical relics include some ruins, deserts, grottoes, temples etc which become witness for the ancient Chinese Silk Road.

With this Silk Road trip, that was like brought us to the other sides of China, the old, mysterious and ancient route that believed to be the dangerous route for people who traveled along the road at past. The street has known as the hard route to be going through because of mountains and deserts that stretched along Silk Route. But now, we could travel it easily with this local travel agency. Lots of places along Silk Route that was seriously remote and dangerous to explore it by ourselves. It could be very hard for us to reach all the destinations without professional staffs and local tour guides.

At last, I would like to say thank you for all the staffs, driver and guides who always helped us along the way. 14 days was not a short time in China but we still could enjoy the trip till the end. A nice trip that gave us incredible new and fresh experience for us!

Favorite and Complete Great Wall Excursion! by Fedora

July19

Come to China will not complete if you are not visit Great Wall. With this 8 days Beijing Xian Shanghai tour, we not only had a chance to have a short excursion to Great Wall but also others favorite cities around China include Xian and Shanghai. We did visit lots of representative attractions in three favorite tourism cities of China.

I booked the tour online one week before my arrival in Beijing. Our first destination of course was Beijing, the capital city. In Beijing, yes for sure we did see lots of impressive historical sites include Great Wall, Forbidden City, Temple of Heaven etc. Our first trip to China and Great Wall is always everyone must!

We did visit the Wall on the weekday, yeah our guide said the Badaling on the weekend could be so crowded with visitors because it has located closest from the downtown. Our journey to Badaling was not too long, for less than 2 hours through the suburb outside city, we finally reached the Wall. Great Wall was interesting, huge and magnificent! I could not clearly describe what I felt when I am stand right on the foot of the Wall. It has become our priceless moment that I could not forget all of time.

Lots of people come to Badaling but not too crowded I think. We could climb the Wall comfortable, without problems. Oh and we decided take the cable car to take us to the above of the Wall. The view from the cable car was amazing and worth to see. All was very green and stunning. Looked from above, Great Wall was like a small wall or path which encircle around the mountainous areas. We took many photos and joke around if we felt tired. Relax a bit and continue our way till our time was up. We had 2 hours to explore the Wall and should meet our guide in the foot of the Wall.

Besides Great Wall in Beijing, in Xian we also did visit another World Heritage Site and world famous historical sites, Terracotta Army. And at last in Shanghai, we could enjoy the modern city of China. The night view is the best and Yu garden was stunning! 8 days going so fast and very worth! All of my experiences were great! We love the itinerary and services! Thank you for all the staffs.
