Itinerary of Beijing Forbidden City, Summer Palace, Temple of Heaven Private Day Tour

1. Pick you up from you downtown hotel between 8:00am and 9:00am and then drive you to the Tiananmen Square first, taking pictures around. Then move on to visit the landmark of Beijing - Forbidden City. The tour in Forbidden City includes the Exhibition of Treasures.
- Tiananmen Square: the heart of Beijing, the largest public city square in the world.
- Forbidden City: best preserved imperial palace in China, the largest wooden cluster in existence in the world.
2. Next destination is the Temple of Heaven. On the way, you will have a chance to visit the Chinese traditional medicine culture.
- Temple of Heaven: the place to worship the heaven for the emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasty.
3. After a typical Chinese lunch in Taiyichun Restaurant, take 30minutes driving to the Summer Palace. Enjoy the largest and most beautiful Chinese imperial garden for about 1.5 hours.
- Summer Palace: the largest and best preserved imperial garden of the Qing Dynasty extant in Beijing.
4. At last, transfer you back to your hotel, day trip end.

Excellent trip to visit plenty famous historical landmarks in Beijing such as, Forbidden City, Summer Palace and Temple of Heaven. We had a fantastic time for a whole day tour. Our guide was also so informative and friendly. In additional, the scenery, the history, the whole experience was wonderful. We thoroughly recommend this great trip.

Excellent tour. Our guide had a wealth of knowledge. This is an excellent way to see things that we even did know before inside historical sites in Beijing. Forbidden City has lots of important historical spots around which covered deep history of ancient China. We did explore a lot of ground and got to see much inside that old royal palace. Nice experience!

Absolutely loved this day trip with our wonderful guide for the day! Very long day but it is really worth it especially if you have a day in Beijing with nothing planned and you are not sure what to do. Our tour guide picked us up right at the hotel and took care of everything. The trip was the highlight along my time in Beijing.

Summer Palace was the highlight of our trip! My family and I, with our 2 kids have joined the trip together on my last vacation. The sceneries of the royal garden were so beautiful and stunning. The atmosphere was very relaxing and peaceful. Perfect garden landscapes that surround by significant ancient cultural relics.
