Itinerary of Beijing Evening Bus Tour: Peking Opera Show

Our tour guide will pick you up from your hotel around 6:00pm and make sure each participant will be on the bus in time from different hotels. Then drive you to Beijing Liyuan Theatre to see the excellent show. Liyuan Theatre is located in Beijing Qianmen Hotel, 175 Yongan Lu, Beijing. Upon arrival, you will be led to your seat with help of both the tour guide and theatre staff.
Peking Opera is mainly about the tales of successive dynasties regarding important historical events, emperors, ministers and generals, geniuses and great beauties, from the ancient times as Yao, Shun, Yu, the Spring and Autumn Period, the Warring States Period to the dynasties of Qin, Han, Sui, Tang, Song, Yuan, Ming, Qing for 5000 years. Popular for western visitors, Liyuan Theatre hosts Peking opera with English subtitles as well as acrobatics performances in the show. Maybe you do not understand its meaning, just enjoy the relax time. After the show ends, transfer you back to your hotel around 9:20pm.

It was a great trip. Good coordination to make it back to our hotel after the show. Peking opera itself was very interesting. All performers dressed with fabulous and elegant costumes, very bright! This tour is really recommended for you who love opera and culture of China. Deep meaning with every expression with unique instruments!

After some of recommendation from my friends to go see this Peking Opera show, I decided to finally see it. The performers excellent and the show was great. From my experience see the Opera Show, it was like learn about more culture of China. The costume and make up were so rich and beautiful. I would recommend it as a pleasant way to spend an evening in Beijing.

The show that I will always remember. This tour offers an excellent night trip from the beginning to the end. We got very nice seat for see the whole Peking Opera show. The night bus tour was surely okay with us, met other family who ride the same small bus with us. It is very comfortable after all. The most important, Peking Opera show was really impressive! It reflected the unique culture of China.

We had a lovely night out in Beijing. Peking Opera tour offers a historical and cultural show that combines excellent costume, make up, music and dances. The tour guide guided us on time to the theater, so we could see the opera right before it begins. The show was impressive and very nice. Definitely worth see show when travelling Beijing.
