Itinerary of Badaling Great Wall & Summer Palace Private Day Tour

1. Pick you up from your hotel on departure time and then drive you to visit the largest and most beautiful Chinese imperial garden - Summer Palace. Enjoy the garden art and the picturesque scenery here.
- Summer Palace: the largest and best preserved imperial garden of the Qing Dynasty extant in Beijing.
2. On the way to the Great Wall, you will visit a large scale jade processing factory. It was not only the excellent skill on carving, but also mixes many Chinese traditional cultures in the jade carving. After lunch, drive you to the world wonder - Badaling Great Wall for a half day excursion.
- Badaling Great Wall: best-preserved section and the essence of the Ming Dynasty Great Wall situated in Beijing.
3. At last, drive you to the Olympic Stadium. You have 45 minutes to take pictures outside the Bird's Nest and Water Cube. If you would like to have the inner view, our tour guide will help you buy the tickets and you could have the inner visit on your own.
4. After the whole day tour, transfer you back to your hotel.

This was a very well organised and operated tour. Our van left on time, and our guide was extremely enthusiastic and knowledgeable. There was a lot of walking and doing the full day tour there was a lot to see. Our guide gave lots of free time same as our expectation. No hesitation to recommending a full day private tour with this local travel agency.

I enjoyed the content of the tour very much. It was interesting to see Great Wall and the old royal garden, Summer Palace. Our trip to the Wall was going smoothly and memorable. Besides, when we were in Summer Palace, we got to see a beautiful classical garden landscape of China. That was very relaxing. Overall, the tour was more than my expectation.

Everything was wonderful. The tour guides were helpful and knowledgeable. She explained everything interesting and clear. We were lucky to have clear skies and warm weather at the same time. We thoroughly enjoyed our day and our tour guide was excellent! Both places, Badaling and Summer Palace were the highlight of the tour! What a magnificent Great Wall and stunning royal garden landscapes of Summer Palace. All were so impressive! Worth every penny having a personal guide in Beijing.
