Introduction

Day 1
Arrive at Beijing. Be met & transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 2 (B, L, D)
Full day trip to the Tian'anmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the Temple of Heaven. In the evening (7:15~8:30PM), enjoy the Chinese acrobat show (or Chinese Kung Fu show) in the evening.

- The Tian'anmen Square: The largest city square in the world.

- The Forbidden City: The largest imperial palace in China during the Ming and Qing dynasties with a history of around 600 years.

- The Temple of Heaven: The place where the ancient emperors used to pray for the God's blessings on the whole nation.

Full day trip to the Great Wall, Ming Tomb. Enjoy a  Peking Duck Banquet for dinner.

- The Great Wall: One of the seven wonders in the world and the symbol of China. (60 miles away from downtown, about one and half hour's drive).

- The Ming Tomb: The only underground tomb of the thirteen tombs of the emperors in the Ming Dynasty.

Day 4 (B, L)
Visit the Summer Palace. Drive to Beijing capital airport, see off, take afternoon flight to Xi'an. Arrive in Xian. Be met & transferred to your hotel.

- The Summer Palace: The largest and best-preserved royal garden in China with a history of over 800 years.

Day 5 (B, L, D)
Visit the Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses, the Bell Tower and the Wild Goose Pagoda. Enjoy the Tang Dynasty show in Bell tower and Drum Tower in Xian the evening.

- The Terra-cotta Warriors and Horses: The greatest archaeological findings of the century. The army of terra-cotta warriors and the bronze chariots entombed in vast underground vaults at emperor Qin's tomb.

- The Bell Tower: The emblem of Xi'an city.

-The Wild Goose Pagoda: The pagoda where widely renowned Master Xuanzang (Monk Tripitaka) stored his classics brought from India.

- The Tang Dynasty show: It  presents the palace dances and sings in the Tang Dynasty when Xi'an was the capital.

Day 6 (B, L, D )
Visit the Provincial Museum and the Ancient City Wall. After a lunch at a local restaurant you will fly to Chongqing. Be met at the airport.

- The Provincial Museum: One of the main museums in China which holds numerous unearthed cultural relics of China.the ancient city wall in winter in Xian

- The Ancient City Wall: An extension of the old Tang Dynasty structure boasting the most complete city wall that survives through Chinese long history.

- Upon arrival you will visit the Goose Neck Park. After dinner at a local restaurant you will be transferred to the pier to board your luxury Yangtze River cruise ship (4 star, Yangtze River, Serenity Crusier or Three Kindom Cruiser).

Day 7 Yangtze River (B, L, D )
This morning you will disembark at Shibaozhai after the first period of cruise, there are 12 storey wooden pagoda which rests against the rock wall of mountain, where you can also climb up the spiral staircase to the top for a panoramic view of the winding river, the village and the countryside. In the late afternoon, you have the option of visiting the temples of White Emperor City (Baidi City).


Day  8 Yangtze River (B, L, D)
In this day, cruiser come to the western Wu Shan (Witch Mountains), you will enter the world-famous Three Gorges, and Shennong Stream with mountains around in Yichangenjoy a 4-hour "soft adventure" to the 60 km tributary, Shennong Stream. In the middle of the cruise, when the cruiser stop, you will travel in a smaller boat up the newly created waterways between well-wooded hills and sheer cliffs you can enjoy spectacular scenery, and see a clearly visible hanging coffin. Later, you will be transferred to an armada of "peapod" boats (small open sampans) manned by a team of rowers. As the stream becomes shallower they will tow the boat by rope to the top of small rapids. After that, return back to your big main cruiser, continue cruising.


Day 9 Yichang / Shanghai (B,L)
After an early breakfast, the shore excursion to the Three Gorges Dam Site. After a farewell lunch on board ,our local guide will meet you and escort you to the airport for your flight to Shanghai. You will be met in Shanghai . The rest of the day is on your own.

Day 10 Shanghai (B, L)
You will visit the lovely old Yuyuan Garden, the Shanghai Museum, the Jade Buddha Temple, and the famous Oriental TV Tower.

- Shanghai Museum: Located in the center of Shanghai in People's Square, Shanghai Museum is a large museum of ancient Chinese art.

- Jade Buddha Temple: it is a venerable and famous Buddhist temple.

- Oriental TV Tower: The Oriental Pearl TV Tower is located in Pudong Park in Lujiazui, Shanghai.

Day 11  Shanghai / End  ( B)
You can arrange your time on your own until you are ready for being transferred to the airport for your departure.
