Day 1: Arrive at Beijing
Our guide will meet you outside the baggage claim area at Beijing Airport and transfer you to the hotel. The rest of the day is on your own to explore the city.

Day 2: Beijing (B, L, D)
Visit Mutianyu Great Wall, Temple of Heaven. The Beijing Duck Dinner is served in the famous Quanjude restaurant.

- Mutianyu Great Wall: The Mutianyu Section Great Wall lies about 70 kilometers northeast of Beijing in Huairou county. The scenery along of this Great wall is very beautiful. One way cable car is include.

- Temple of Heaven: Situated in the southern part of the city, the temple of heaven covers the total area of 2,700,000 square meters.

- Roasted Duck at Hepingmen: In the evening enjoy the Peking Roasted Duck which is renowned as the most delicious food of Beijing.
 
Day 3: Beijing (B, L)
Visit the Tiananmen Square, The Forbidden City, Hall of Clocks and Watches.

- Tiananmen Square: The largest city center square in the world.
- The Forbidden City: The largest palace in the world.
- Hall of Clocks and Watches: Hall of Clocks and Watches set in the Forbidden City，2208 square meters，show us the clock history of the past 200 years.

Day 4: Beijing - Lanzhou (B, L)
In the morning, visit Hutong, in the afternoon, take flight from Beijing to Lanzhou. And pick up from Lanzhou Airport, then transfer to the airport.

- Hutong Tours in Rickshaw: A maze of historic alleyways and old single storey traditional courtyard houses, now fast disappearing. Dotted around the hutong are the Drum and Bell Towers, Tea House, and local people's houses.

Day 5: Lanzhou (B)
Visit Labrang Monastery, Sangke Grassland. Take train from Lanzhou to Xiahe.

- Labrang Monastery: One of the major monasteries of the Gelugpa (Yellow Hat) sect. The architectural layout follows the Tibetan style, while the construction patterns are mostly Tibetan, Han, or a mixture of the two. The White Towers (in the northeast and in the northwest) are very typical.

- Sangke Grassland: Songke Grassland is located in southwest of Xiahe.
 
Day 6: Lanzhou - Xiahe (B)
Take train from Xiahe to Lanzhou to Overnight train.

Day 7: Xiahe - Lhasa
Overnight train to Lhasa. The guide will pick you up at Lhasa Train Station and transfer to the hotel.

Day 8: Lhasa (B)
Visit Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street.

- Potala Palace: Former winter home of the Dalai Lama, a vast, awe-inspiring maze of corridors and stairs leading through countless rooms of richly decorated statues, tombs, murals and antiques.

- Jokhang Temple: Smaller and more manageable than the Potala, this 4-storey, golden-roofed temple is at the heart of a rich and living Tibetan Buddhism. Many locals pray here regularly; the Temple is surrounded by Barkhor Street and thronged with pilgrims and visitors.

- Barkhor Street: Watch the pilgrims, wearing local dress from many different parts of Tibet, as they circle clockwise around Jokhang Temple with prayer wheels, or prostrate themselves near the front gate.

Day 9: Lhasa (B)
Visit Norbulingka, Tibet Medical and Astrological Institute, Sera Monastery.

- Norbulingka: Norbulingka means "Jeweled Garden". It was constructed as a summer palace for the Dalai Lama and later served the whole governmental administration.

- Tibet Medical and Astrological Institute: The central herbal and traditional medicine centre in Tibet, the Institute treats around 500 patients / day (up to 1000 in winter).

- Sera Monastery: It is known as one of the three greatest monasteries of Tibet.

Day 10: Lhasa - Shigatse (B)
Transfer from Lhasa to Shigatse. Visit Tashilhunpo Monastery, Yamdrok Yumtso Lake.

- Tashilhunpo Monastery: Painted in red and white, the buildings in the kloster stand closely together in terraced rows, offering a grand and majestic view.

- Yamdrok Yumtso Lake: It lies within the boundary of Nankartse county, on the north bank of the Yarlung Tsangpo River, Lhokha Prefecture, surrounded by mountains. Beautiful Holy lake which everybody is looking forward to.

Day 11: Shigatse - Lhasa (B)
Visit Palkhor Monastery. Transfer Shigatse to Lhasa.

- Palkhor Monastery: Built as a Tibetan monastery, its structural style is very unique, reputed as the lord of Tibetan stupas.
 
Day 12: Lhasa - Chengdu (B, L)
Take flight from Lhasa to Chengdu, the guide will pick you up from the Chengdu Airport, then transfer to the hotel.

Day 13: Chengdu (B, L)
Visit Wu Hou Temple, Jingli Street, Half Day Tour to Panda Breed Reserve.

- Wu Hou Temple: The Marquis of Wu, Zhuge Liang (181-234) was the outstanding military strategist immortalised in "The Romance of the Three Kingdoms" and in the saying wise as "the Marquis of Wu".

- Jingli Street: Once the commercial heart of the old kingdoms this ancient street has been fully restored in traditional Sichuan style. Picturesque, bustling, and cheerful, you can sample local arts and craft, traditional Chinese goods, food and delicacies, and even a Starbucks, local style.

--Half Day Tour to Panda Breed Reserve: The guide will pick you up at your hotel and transfer to Chengdu Research Base of Giant Panda Breeding, which is situated on the Axe Hill 10 kilometers from the north suburb of Chengdu City.

Note: you may need to consult with your guide about the interaction programs before you visit the pandas, so that your guide can make a reservation.

Day 14: Chengdu - Shanghai (B, L)
Take flight from Chengdu to Shanghai, visit Nanjing Road, The Bund.

- Nanjing Road: One of the most famous shopping streets in the world.

- The Bund: Once the home of the foreign traders and major banks, the embankment has taken on a new vitality.

Day 15: Shanghai (B, L)
Visit Yuyuan Garden, Jade Buddha Temple, Yuyuan Market, Oriental Pearl TV Tower.

- Yuyuan Garden: In the centre of Shanghai next to the Yuyuan Bazaar, this exquisite old 5-acre garden is famous for its design.

- Jade Buddha Temple: An active Buddhist temple, and one of the richest in Shanghai.

- Yuyuan Market: Located at a very busy marketplace in a complex of traditional-style buildings, backing onto Yuyuan Gardens.

- Oriental Pearl TV Tower: Standing by the Huangpu River with 468 meters high, Oriental Pearl TV Tower is the highest TV Tower in Asia.

Day 16: Departure from Shanghai (B)
Departure from Shanghai, see off.
