Introduction
[Sacred Way stretches 7 kilometers from south to north through the center of the tombs area. It was originally built for the first tomb Changling - the tomb of Emperor Yongle, the most powerful emperor in the Ming dynasty.]
Depart Time: Every day;
Start from about 8:00 am and back around 5:00 pm.
Itinerary Detail:
Pick you up from hotel, then drive to the famous Mutianyu Great Wall. Sightseeing on Great Wall Mutianyu section for about 2 hours.
Visit the Ming Tomb and Sacred Road. Transfer you back to your hotel after the whole day tour.
- Mutianyu Great Wall: The Mutianyu Section Great Wall lies about 70 kilometers northeast of Beijing in Huairou county.
- Ming Tomb: The Ming Tombs located in Changping District, about 50 kilometers from the northwest of Beijing, is enclosed by mountains in three sides.
- Sacred Road: the road is guarded on both sides with stone statues by which the ancient emperors went to hold a memorial ceremony for the ancestors.
