Day 1: Arrive at Beijing
Arrive at Beijing. Be met & transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 2: Beijing (B, L)
The Forbidden City, the Tiananmen Square, Hutong Tours in Rickshaw.

- The Forbidden City: Lying at the exact center of Beijing, the Forbidden City (pronounced Gu Gong in Chinese), used to be the former Imperial Palace of the Ming and Qing Dynasties.

- The Tiananmen Square: The world's largest city square and enduring symbol of China's national pride, surrounded by many imposing buildings including the Heavenly Gate (entry to the Forbidden City), Museums, government buildings and Chairman Mao's Mausoleum.

- Hutong: The Hutong has a very special and important position in the rich history and culture of Beijing.

Day 3: Beijing (B, L, D)
Visit the Mutianyu Great Wall. To avoid having lunch at shopping site restaurants, you will be driven to have Sichuan food at a local popular restaurant. Visit the Sacred Way and the Ming Tomb in the afternoon. Visit Temple of Heaven. The Mutianyu Great wall in winter Beijing Duck Dinner is served at a famous restaurant.

- Mutianyu Great Wall: it is lies about 70 kilometers northeast of Beijing in Huairou county. This section measures 2250 meters in length with 22 watchtowers, but now only 1700- meter- long wall with 14 watchtowers is open to the public.

- Ming Tomb: The Ming Tombs located in Changping District, about 50 kilometers from the northwest of Beijing, is enclosed by mountains in three sides.

- The Temple of Heaven: The place where the ancient emperors used to pray for the God's blessings on the whole nation.

Day 4: Beijing - Xining (B, L)
Transfer to Beijing Airport, fly to Xining, pick you up Xining Airport and visit Ta'er Monastery. Then transfer to the hotel.

- Ta'er Monastery : The Ta'er Monastery is located in Huangzhong County, 26 kilometers from Xining, capital of Qinghai Province.

Day 5: Xining (B)
Visit Qinghai Lake and have a cruise on Qinghai Lake.

- Qinghai Lake: Qinghai Lake, China's largest inland salt water lake is at 3200 meters above sea level and is situated at the east of Qinghai province, around 2.30 hours drive from Xining.

Day 6: Xining - Lhasa
Overnight train to Lhasa.

Day 7: Lhasa (B)
Visit Potala Palace, Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street.

- Potala Palace: Former winter home of the Dalai Lama, a vast, awe-inspiring maze of corridors and stairs leading through countless rooms of richly decorated statues, tombs, murals and antiques.Potala Palace in winter with snow

- Jokhang Temple: Smaller and more manageable than the Potala, this 4-storey, golden-roofed temple is at the heart of a rich and living Tibetan Buddhism.

- Barkhor Street: Watch the pilgrims, wearing local dress from many different parts of Tibet, as they circle clockwise around Jokhang Temple with prayer wheels, or prostrate themselves near the front gate.
 
Day 8: Lhasa (B)
Visit Sera Monastery, Norbulingka and Drepung Monastery.

- Sera Monastery: It is known as one of the three greatest monasteries of Tibet. As one of the three main monasteries of Lhasa, it is here that the monks "famous daily debates" take place.

- Norbulingka: Norbulingka means "Jeweled Garden". It was constructed as a summer palace for the Dalai Lama and later served the whole governmental administration.

- Drepung Monastery: Drepung Monastery lies in west of Lhasa under Mt. Gambo Utse, clustered round by the black mountain, its white grand buildings shining under the sunlight. Built in 1416, it is considered as one of the largest monasteries in the six principle monasteries of Gelu Sect in China.

Day 9: Lhasa to Shigatse (B)
Visit Yomdrok Lake and the Palkhor Chorten.

- Yomdrok Lake: It lies within the boundary of Nankartse county, on the north bank of the Yarlung Tsangpo River, Lhokha Prefecture, surrounded by mountains.

Day 10: Shigatse to Lhasa (B)
Visit Tashilunpo Monastery.

- Tashilunpo Monastery: Painted in red and white, the buildings in the kloster stand closely together in terraced rows, offering a grand and majestic view.

Day 11: Lhasa to Chengdu (B)
Pick you up at the Wu Hou Temple, Jinli Street.

- Wu Hou Temple: The Marquis of Wu, Zhuge Liang (181-234) was the outstanding military strategist immortalized in "The Romance of the Three Kingdoms" and in the saying wise as "the Marquis of Wu".

- Jinli Street: Once the commercial heart of the old kingdoms this ancient street has been fully restored in traditional Sichuan style. Picturesque, bustling, and cheerful, you can sample local arts and craft, traditional Chinese goods, food and delicacies, and even a Starbucks, local style.

Day 12: Chengdu to Shanghai (B, L)
Visit Sanxingdui Museum and Half Day Tour to Panda Breed Reserve. Transfer to Chengdu Airport, fly to Shanghai,  pick you up at Shanghai Airport.

- Sanxingdui Museum in Guanghan: Founded in 1992, this museum occupies an area of 7000 square kilometers, and has a exhibition of the cultural relics excavated from No1 and No2 sacrificial pits of Shang Dynasty (from 16th-11th century B.C.).

--Half Day Tour to Panda Breed Reserve: Your guide will pick you up at your hotel and transfer to Chengdu Research panda playing in Wolong reserve centerBase of Giant Panda Breeding, which is situated on the Axe Hill 10 kilometers from the north suburb of Chengdu City.

Note: you may need to consult with your guide about the interaction programs before you visit the pandas, so that your guide can make a reservation.
 
Day 13: Shanghai (B, L)
Visit the Bund and Nanjing Road.

- The Bund: Once the home of the foreign traders and major banks, the embankment has taken on a new vitality; lovely old European-style buildings mix with futuristic developments, chic restaurants, top end shops and bars offer plenty to see and do – and by night it's magic.

- Nanjing Road: One of the most famous shopping streets in the world. Giant shopping centres, specialist boutiques, international brands, local upmarket goods, it's all here, it's all busy and at night it really glitters. A fascinating glimpse of modern, commercial China.

Day 14: Shanghai (B, L)
Visit Jade Buddha Temple, Yuyuan Market, Oriental Pearl TV Tower and Yuyuan Garden.

- Jade Buddha Temple: Jade Buddha Temple which situated in the western part of Shanghai is the most famous Buddhist temple in Shanghai.

- Oriental Pearl TV Tower: One of the tallest TV towers in the world, known for its distinctive spheres, or "pearls", it stands across the river from the Bund, among the exciting architecture of the east bank.

- Yuyuan Garden: In the centre of Shanghai next to the Yuyuan Bazaar, this exquisite old 5-acre garden is famous for its design.

Day 15: Departure from Shanghai (B)
