Introduction

[Sacred Way stretches 7 kilometers from south to north through the center of the tombs area. It was originally built for the first tomb Changling - the tomb of Emperor Yongle, the most powerful emperor in the Ming dynasty.]

Depart Time: Everyday;
Start from about 8:00 am and back around 5:00 pm.

Itinerary Detail:
1. Pick up travelers from hotel on departure time, and then drive to the Ming Tombs. Visit Changling or DIngling. And then visit Sacred road.

- Ming Tombs: the best-preserved Chinese imperial tombs with 500 years history, and visiting Changling or Dingling. Changling Tomb is the head and the largest tomb of Ming Tombs, where Emperor Yongle (the first emperor in Beijing) and his Empress Xu were buried. Dingling is the underground mausoleum of Emperor Wan Li. The Underground Palace Halls, a labyrinth palace building, were the first royal tomb excavated in accordance with plan in China.

- Sacred Road: the road is guarded on both sides with stone statues by which the ancient emperors went to hold a memorial ceremony for the ancestors.

2. Then drive to the famous Mutianyu Great Wall. Sightseeing on Great Wall Mutianyu section for about 2 hours. On the way to Mutianyu Great Wall, a short visit of Jade Carving Factory. The jade carving is very famous special local product, it was not only the excellent skill on carving, but also mixes many Chinese traditional cultures in the jade carving.

- Mutianyu Great Wall: The Mutianyu Section Great Wall lies about 70 kilometers northeast of Beijing in Huairou county. This section measures 2250 meters in length with 22 watchtowers, but now only 1700- meter- long wall with 14 watchtowers is open to the public.

3. After this tour, transfer to your hotel.
