[1 Day Tour to Pingyao, Shanxi Province.]
Itinerary Details (L):
Pick you up from your hotel in Beijing. Then fly to Taiyuan, the capital of Shanxi Province. Then transfer to Pingyao Ancient City. After the tour, back to Beijing. Met and transfer to your hotel in Beijing.
First visit the Pingyao Ancient City, Rishengchang Exchange Shop, Mingqing Street, Armed Escort Company Museum and County Government Office.
- Pingyao Ancient City: Being one of the four wholly-protected ancient cities in China, Pingyao Ancient City is thought of as the 'treasure house' of ancient Chinese architectures.
- Rishengchang Exchange Shop: It is the earliest bank in China, first opened in the 18th century. Rishengchang was the first money exchange shop in the history of China.
- Mingqing Street: Ming and Qing Street, also called Nanda Jie. It is one of the busy and interesting streets in which to experience ancient Chinese culture.
