Day 01: Arrival in Beijing
Arrive at Beijing. Be met & transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 02: Beijing (B, L, D)
Visit the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. On the way to the Temple of Heaven, you will have a chance to visit the Chinese traditional medicine culture. The Beijing Duck Dinner is served at a famous restaurant.  Enjoy the Peking Duck and Peking Opera(or Chinese Acrobat, or Chinese Kongfu show, choose one show from these three options, depending on your interest) in the evening.

- The Tiananmen Square: The largest city square in the world.

- The Forbidden City: The largest imperial palace in China during the Ming and Qing dynasties with a history of around 600 years.

- The Temple of Heaven: The place where the ancient emperors used to pray for the God's blessings on the whole nation.

Day 03: Beijing (B, L, D is included for luxury series)
Visit the Badaling Great Wall, Ming Tombs and  the Summer Palace in the afternoon. On the way back to downtown, drive by the Bird's Nest (Olympic Stadium). You will see its appearance outside the Olympic Stadium. One the way to Ming Tombs, we will visit a large scale jade processing factory. There is workshop for demonstration of Jade carving, the visit will help you to know the processes of Chinese jade carving and Chinese jade culture. You may also take photo in the huge Jade exhibition hall or buy some jade carving souvenir as you like.

- Badaling Great Wall: One of the seven wonders in the world and the symbol of China. (60 miles away from downtown, about one and half hour's drive).

- Ming Tombs: The Ming Tombs located in Changping District, about 50 kilometers from the northwest of Beijing, is enclosed by mountains in three sides.

- Summer Palace: The Summer Palace is located on the northwest outskirts of Beijing. It is the best preserved imperial garden in the world and the largest of its kind that still in existence in China today.

Day 04: Beijing - Lhasa (B)
Fly to Lhasa. Transfer to the finest hotel in Lhasa and acclimatize yourself to the high altitude in the afternoon. 

Day 05: Lhasa (B)
Visit the magnificent Potala Palace, Sera Monastery, the Norbulingka Park and a Tibetan family.

- Potala Palace: Former winter home of the Dalai Lama, a vast, awe-inspiring maze of corridors and stairs leading through countless rooms of richly decorated statues, tombs, murals and antiques.

- Sera Monastery: It is known as one of the three greatest monasteries of Tibet.

- Norbulingka Park: Norbulingka means "Jeweled Garden". It was constructed as a summer palace for the Dalai Lama and later served the whole governmental administration.

Day 06: Lhasa (B)
Visit the Jokhang Temple and the thriving bazaar of the Barkhor Street. After lunch, go to visit the Tibet Museum, the Tibetan Traditional Medicine Hospital and the Carpet Factory.

- Jokhang Temple: Smaller and more manageable than the Potala, this 4-storey, golden-roofed temple is at the heart of a rich and living Tibetan Buddhism. Many locals pray here regularly; the Temple is surrounded by Barkhor Street and thronged with pilgrims and visitors.

- Barkhor Street: Watch the pilgrims, wearing local dress from many different parts of Tibet, as they circle clockwise around Jokhang Temple with prayer wheels, or prostrate themselves near the front gate.

Day 07: Departure from Lhasa (B)
See off.
