Day 1: Arrival at Beijing
You will meet our guide at the airport on your arrival. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.
Day 2: Beijing (B, L)
Pick you up in the morning. Visit Badaling Great Wall and Chang Tombs of Ming Tombs. Before lunch, we will visit a large scale jade processing factory. There is workshop for demonstration of Jade carving, the visit will help you to know the processes of Chinese jade carving and Chinese jade culture. You may also take photo in the huge Jade exhibition hall or buy some jade carving souvenir as you like.
- Badaling Great Wall: One of the seven wonders in the world and the symbol of China. (60 miles away from downtown, about one and half hour's drive).
- Ming Tombs: The Ming Tombs located in Changping District, about 50 kilometers from the northwest of Beijing, is enclosed by mountains in three sides.
Day 3: Beijing (B, L, D)
Pick you up in the morning. Visit Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, Temple of heaven. On the way to the Temple of Heaven, you will have a chance to visit the Chinese traditional medicine culture. Enjoy Peking Roast Duck in the evening.
- Tiananmen Square: the largest city center square in the world.
- The Forbidden City: The largest imperial palace in China during the Ming and Qing dynasties with a history of around 600 years.
- Temple of heaven: The Temple of Heaven, situated in southeastern part of Beijing, is the largest heaven-worshipping architecture in the world. It is first built in 1420 in the Ming Dynasty during the time when the Forbidden City was constructed.
Day 4: Beijing (B, L)
Pick you up in the morning. Visit Hutong, Beihai Park, Jingshan Park and Lama Temple. Then have a short visit of a silk shop. The main items include Chinese silk, satin, cashmere, Chinese traditional clothes and silk clothing. The silk is very famous by the world for the Silk road, it is discovered in China as one of the best materials for clothing.
Enjoy the night view of Houhai. Hou Hai, meaning Back Sea and Xi Hai, meaning Western Sea, surrounding places of historic interest and scenic beauty, and remnants of old-style Beijing residences, Hutong and Courtyard. It is located in the northwest part of Beijing, and covers a large area of 146.7 hectares (about 363 acres).
- Hutong: The Hutong has a very special and important position in the rich history and culture of Beijing.
- Beihai Park: With the Forbidden City and Jingshan Park to its east, Zhong Nan Hai (Central and South Seas) to its south, Beihai (North Sea) Park is one of the oldest, largest and best-preserved ancient imperial gardens in China located in the center of Beijing.
- Jingshan Park: Jingshan Park, the highest point in Beijing City was built in 1179 during the Jin Dynasty and has a history of more than 800 years.
- Lama Temple: Yonghegong, popularly known as the “Lama Temple’, is a famous lamasery in the northeastern part of Beijing.
Day 5: Beijing (B, L)
Pick you up in the morning. Visit Beijing Zoo and Summer Palace. Then move to Olympic Stadium, visit Bird Nest and Water cube. On the way to your hotels, we also arrange the short visit to a China Tea House to enjoy tea ceremony. In the evening (7:15~8:30PM), enjoy the Peking Opera Show(or Chinese Acrobatic, or Chinese Kongfu show, choose one show from these three options, depending on your interest).
- Beijing Zoo: Beijing Zoo was initially named Ten Thousand Animal Garden which was built in 1908, proving that it already had a history of more than 90 years.
- Summer Palace: The Summer Palace is located on the northwest outskirts of Beijing. It is the best preserved imperial garden in the world and the largest of its kind that still in existence in China today.
Day 6: Beijing/Exit (B, L)
Pick you up from your hotel, then transfer to the Airport. See off.
