Itinerary Details:
1. Pick you up at your hotel. First drive to Tiananmen Square. After visiting Tiananmen Square, proceed on to the Forbidden City. Then enjoy a short visit of Chinese traditional medicine culture.

- Tiananmen Square: the largest city square of such kind in the world.

- Forbidden City: also known officially as the Imperial Palace Museum. The Forbidden City was the seat of Imperial power for 500 years, and is now a major tourist attraction in China.

2. After finish the tour of the Forbidden City, exit from its north gate and continue to visit Beihai Park.

- Beihai Park: It used to be a winter palace for emperors for successive dynasties. There are now two things to see here: the park itself and the round city.

3. Then take cab (paid by us) to Shichahai area for hutong tour. You will visit Drum Tower, courtyard neighborhoods and Prince Gong's mansion by pedicab.

- Shichahai area: Shichahai is a famous scenic area that includes three lakes (Qian Hai, meaning Front Sea; Hou Hai, meaning Back Sea and Xi Hai, meaning Western Sea), surrounding places of historic interest and scenic beauty, and remnants of old-style Beijing residences, Hutong and Courtyard.

- Hutong: The Hutong has a very special and important position in the rich history and culture of Beijing.

- Prince Gong's mansion: Prince Gong's Mansion is Beijing's largest and the best preserved Qing Dynasty (1644-1911) princely mansion and is located at Qianhai Xijie to the north of Shichahai.

4. Lunch will be arranged at a local family. The host will teach you how to make Chinese dishes and have the home-made lunch.

5. After the day tour, you will be returned to your hotel.

Note: Children taller than 1.1 meter should be charged as full price, children shorter than 1.1 meter should be charged only half of the price.
