[1 Day Tour of Mutianyu Great Wall, Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square.]
Depart Time: Everyday;
Start from about 8:00 am and back around 5:00 pm.
Itinerary Detail:
1. Half day excursion to the Mutianyu Great Wall. Sightseeing on Great Wall Mutianyu section for about 2 hours. Then you will have a short visit of Jade Carving Factory. The jade carving is very famous special local product, it was not only the excellent skill on carving, but also mixes many Chinese traditional cultures in the jade carving.
- Mutianyu Great Wall: The Mutianyu Section Great Wall lies about 70 kilometers northeast of Beijing in Huairou county. This section measures 2250 meters in length with 22 watchtowers, but now only 1700- meter- long wall with 14 watchtowers is open to the public.
2. After lunch, visit Tiananmen Square. Then visit the Forbidden City,. Transfer you back to your hotel.
- Tiananmen Square: the largest city center square in the world.
- Forbidden City: Lying at the exact center of Beijing, the Forbidden City (pronounced Gu Gong in Chinese), used to be the former Imperial Palace of the Ming and Qing Dynasties.
