Introduction

[2 days, 1 night tour package, including hotel accommodation (4 star), visit the famous Chengde Mountain Resort, Puning Temple and Putuo Zongcheng Temple, private guide.]

Depart Time: everyday;
Start from about 8:00 am and back around 6:00 pm.

Day 1: Beijing - Chengde (L)
Arrive at Chengde. Visit the Chengde Mountain Resort (Imperial Summer Villa) after lunch. Stay overnight at Yunshan Hotel, Chengde.

- Chengde Mountain Resort: one of China's leading scenic spots and the world's largest imperial garden, used to be a summer resort and hunting ground for emperors of the Qing Dynasty (1644-1911).

Day 2: Chengde - Beijing (B, L)
Visit Puning Temple (Temple of Universal Tranquility) and Putuo Zongcheng Temple-a small Potala Palace in the morning. Back to Beijing after lunch.

- Puning Temple: a Chinese-style temple at the front, with chubby Milefo (Laughing Buddha) welcoming visitors and more Tibetan-style features at the rear.

- Putuo Zongcheng Temple: the largest of the Chengde temples, a mini-facsimile of Lhasa's Potala Palace.

Hotel options: Four Star Hotel: Yunshan Hotel

Vehicle mode: private luxury car or MPV van.
