Day 1: Arrive at Beijing
Arrive at Beijing. Be met & transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 2: Beijing (B, L, D)
Visit the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City and the Temple of Heaven. Enjoy the Peking Duck Dinner and Peking Opera in the evening.

- The Tiananmen Square: The largest city square in the world.

Badaling Great Wall with clouds- The Forbidden City: The largest imperial palace in China during the Ming and Qing dynasties with a history of around 600 years.

- The Temple of Heaven: The place where the ancient emperors used to pray for the God's blessings on the whole nation.

Day 3: Beijing (B, L)
Visit the Badaling Great Wall. To avoid having lunch at shopping site restaurants, you will be driven to have Sichuan food at a local popular restaurant. Visit the Sacred Way, the Ming Tomb, the Bird's Nest (Olympic National Stadium), You will see its appearance at a distance

- The Ming Tomb: The only underground tomb of the thirteen tombs of the emperors in the Ming Dynasty.

- The Sacred Road: The road is guarded on both sides with stone statues by which the ancient emperors went to hold a memorial ceremony for the ancestors.

Day 4: Beijing - Xian (B, L)
Visit Summer Palace and Beijing Zoo. Fly to Xian, pick you up at the airport and transfer to the hotel.

- Summer Palace: it is located on the northwest outskirts of Beijing. It is the best preserved imperial garden in the world and the largest of its kind that still in existence in China today.Big Wild Pagoda with flowers

- Beijing Zoo: Beijing Zoo was initially named Ten Thousand Animal Garden which was built in 1908, proving that it already had a history of more than 90 years.

Day 5: Xian (B, L)
Visit the Terra Cotta Warriors. To avoid having the poor food at the site, you will take highway back to downtown to have lunch at a well-known Cantonese cuisine restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda. This evening you will be entertained with the marvelous Tang Dynasty Show.

- The Terra Cotta Warriors: The greatest archaeological findings of the century. The army of terra-cotta warriors and the bronze chariots entombed in vast underground vaults at emperor Qin's tomb.

-The Big Wild Goose Pagoda: The pagoda where widely renowned Master Xuanzang (Monk Tripitaka) stored his classics brought from India.Artwork in Hanyang Mausoleum in Xian

- Tang Dynasty Show: It  presents the palace dances and sings in the Tang Dynasty when Xian was the capital.

Day 06: Xian - Lhasa (B)
Visit the Hanyangling Museum on the way to the airport. Fly to Lhasa and transfer to the hotel.

- Hanyangling Museum: The Mausoleum of the Western Han Emperor, Liu Qi, is located at Zhanjiawan Village, about 20 kilometers (12 miles) north of Xian City, Shaanxi Province.

Day 07: Lhasa (B)
Visit the magnificent Potala Palace, the Sera Monastery, the Norbulingka Park and a local Tibetan family. 

Potala Palace in winter with snow- Potala Palace: Former winter home of the Dalai Lama, a vast, awe-inspiring maze of corridors and stairs leading through countless rooms of richly decorated statues, tombs, murals and antiques.

- Sera Monastery: It is known as one of the three greatest monasteries of Tibet.

- Norbulingka: Norbulingka means "Jeweled Garden". It was constructed as a summer palace for the Dalai Lama and later served the whole governmental administration.

Day 08: Lhasa (B)Buddha in Johkang Monastery in Lhasa
Visit the Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street, the Tibet Museum, the Tibetan Traditional Medicine Hospital and the Carpet Factory.

- Jokhang Temple: Smaller and more manageable than the Potala, this 4-storey, golden-roofed temple is at the heart of a rich and living Tibetan Buddhism. Many locals pray here regularly; the Temple is surrounded by Barkhor Street and thronged with pilgrims and visitors.

- Barkhor Street: Watch the pilgrims, wearing local dress from many different parts of Tibet, as they circle clockwise around Jokhang Temple with prayer wheels, or prostrate themselves near the front gate.

Day 09: Lhasa - Gyangtse (B)
Transfer to Gyangtse. Stop off at the Yamdrok Yumtso Lake and the Karola snow mountain. Transfer to the hotel upon arrival. Visit the Palkhor Monastery and the Gyangtse Old Street.

Yamdrok Lakeside with sheep- Yamdrok Yumtso Lake: It lies within the boundary of Nankartse county, on the north bank of the Yarlung Tsangpo River, Lhokha Prefecture, surrounded by mountains. Beautiful Holy lake which everybody is looking forward to.

- Palkhor Monastery: Pelkhor Choede (Kumbum), also named Palcho Monastery, is very different from other monasteries. Built as a Tibetan monastery, its structural style is very unique, reputed as the lord of Tibetan stupas.

Day 10: Gyangtse - Shigatse (B)
Transfer to Shigatse and check in at the hotel. Visit the Tashilunpo Monastery and the New Palace of Panchen.

- Tashilunpo Monastery: it is located on the southern slope of the Nyima Mountain to the west of the Shigatse city. It represents the Tibetan super architecture art in the Last Tibetan spirit.

Day 11: Shigatse - Dingri (B)Building of Sakya monastery in Shigatse
Transfer to Dingri and check in at the Everest Hotel. Visit the Sakya Monastery and Lhasa city on the way.

- Sakya Monastery: a Buddhist monastery in Tibet. The Mongolian architecture is different from the other temples in Tibet. There are as many as 84,000 scrolls including works of literature, history, arts, philosophy and mathematics. It was thought as the sign that Tibet was brought into Chinese domain officially.

(Tips: The best time to visit Tibet is from May to Oct. The climate near Everest Base Camp is so harsh that it is hard for the visit from Nov to next Apr. The heavy snow in winter may easily block the road. It takes about 6 to 7 hours driving from Shigatse to Dingri. The food is far from good, so we advise you to take some snacks or fast food like chocolate, biscuits with you. Tibet in depth is not as developed as other China cities, so you must psyche yourself up for your Tibet adventure.)

Day 12: Dingri - Everest Base Camp - Dingri (B)
Transfer to the Everest Base Camp and visit Rongbuk Monastery. Return to Dingri. 

- Rongbuk Monastery - the highest monastery in the world, which lies at the foot of the Rongbuk Glacier at 5,100 meters above sea level. It is the sacred threshold of Mt. Everest with the most fabulous view in the world. There is only a distance of 10 kilometers (6 miles) between Rongbuk monastery and Everest Base Camp.

Day 13: Dingri - Shigatse (B)Road with blue sky in Lhasa
Drive back to Shigatse and transfer to the hotel.

Day 14: Shigatse - Lhasa (B)
Return to Lhasa and transfer to the hotel. Two days' long-way driving may weary you out and rest fully to recover from the tiredness the rest of the day. 

Day 15: Lhasa - Shanghai (B, L)
Proceed to the next stop after having a Tibetan family visit. Take a flight to Shanghai and transfer to the hotel.

Day 16: Shanghai (B, L, D)
Visit the Shanghai Museum and the Yuyuan Garden. After lunch, transfer you to the Bund area, where you will take a cruise tour on the Huangpu River. The cruise will start at 14:00, reach the Wusongkou pier and then get back to the Bund at 17:00. Leave you some free time to explore the Bund area on your own. Tonight an a la carte farewell dinner is served the bund in the day time in Shanghai at Central Hotel, whose restaurant Wang Bao He has a history of around 260 years and is the best place to serve Shanghai Cuisine. The memorable dinner will be followed by the Portman Acrobatic Show at the Shanghai Centre Theatre.- Shanghai Museum: The biggest museum in China, with a collection of over 120,000 pieces of Chinese art & cultural relics. The museum is especially famous for its treasures of bronzes, ceramics, paintings, and calligraphy.

- Yuyuan Garden: it is a famous classical garden located in Anren Street, Shanghai.

- The Bund: The former foreign settlement, ranged along with imposing buildings of the colonial period.

- Nanjing Road: The busiest shopping street in Shanghai.

- Huangpu River: it is the most important shipping artery of Shanghai, wriggles like an undulating muddy dragon from the mouth of the Yangtze River in Wusong to the East China Sea.

Day 17: Departure from Shanghai (B)
