Arrive at Beijing. Be met & transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 02: Beijing (B, L, D)
Full day trip to the Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the Hutong. Enjoy a  Peking Duck Banquet for dinner and Peking Opera Show in the evening.

- The Tiananmen Square: The largest city square in the world.

- The Forbidden City: The largest imperial palace in China during the Ming and Qing dynasties with a history of around 600 years.

- Hutong: The Hutong has a very special and important position in the rich history and culture of Beijing.

Day 03: Beijing (B, L)
Full day trip to the Great Wall, Ming Tomb and the Sacred Way.

- The Great Wall: One of the seven wonders in the world and the symbol of China. (60 miles away from downtown, about one and half hour's drive).

- The Ming Tomb: The only underground tomb of the thirteen tombs of the emperors in the Ming Dynasty.

- The Sacred Road: The road is guarded on both sides with stone statues by which the ancient emperors went to hold a memorial ceremony for the ancestors.

Day 04: Beijing - Xian (B, L, D)
Visit the Summer Palace and the Temple of Heaven. Take a flight to Xian and transfer to the Hotel. 

- The Summer Palace: The largest and best-preserved royal garden in China with a history of over 800 years.

- The Temple of Heaven: The place where the ancient emperors used to pray for the God's blessings on the whole nation.

Day 05: Xian (B, L)
Visit the Terra Cotta Warriors. To avoid having the poor food at the site, you will take highway back to downtown to have lunch at a well-known Cantonese cuisine restaurant. In the afternoon, visit the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and Shaanxi History Museum. This evening you will be entertained with Dumping Dinner and the marvelous Tang Dynasty Show.

- The Terra Cotta Warriors: The greatest archaeological findings of the century: the army of terra-cotta warriors and the bronze chariots entombed in vast underground vaults at emperor Qin's tomb.

- The Big Wild Goose Pagoda: The pagoda where widely renowned Master Xuanzang (Monk Tripitaka) stored his classics brought from India.

- Provincial History Museum: it focuses on the highlights of the Shaanxi culture and depicts the development of the Chinese civilization.

- Tang Dynasty Show: It presents the palace dances and sings in the Tang Dynasty when Xian was the capital.

Day 06: Xian  (B, L)
Visit the Xian Ancient City Wall and the Great Mosque. Then transfer to your hotel.

- Xian Ancient City Wall: Xian was originally a walled city, and even today the wall is considered a landmark dividing the city into the inner part and the outer part.

- The Great Mosque in Xian is one of the oldest, largest and best-preserved Islamic mosques in China.

Day 07: Xian - Lhasa (B)
Visit the Hanyang Tomb. Transfer to airport, take flight to Lhasa. When you arrival at Lhasa, met and transfered to your hotel.

- The Hanyang Tomb: The Jing Emperor's tomb in Han Dynasty which was opened in 2001 and is famous for its rich collections of different kinds of tombs.


Day 08: Lhasa (B)
Visit the Tibet Museum, the Sera Monastery, the Norbulingka and the Carpet Factory. Park and a local Tibetan family. 

- Norbulingka: Norbulingka means "Jeweled Garden". It was constructed as a summer palace for the Dalai Lama and later served the whole governmental administration.

- Sera Monastery: It is known as one of the three greatest monasteries of Tibet.

Day 09: Lhasa (B)
Visit the Jokhang Temple, Barkhor Street, the Potala Palace, and then finish the tour at Tibetan Traditional Medicine Hospital.

- Potala Palace: Former winter home of the Dalai Lama, a vast, awe-inspiring maze of corridors and stairs leading through countless rooms of richly decorated statues, tombs, murals and antiques.

- Jokhang Temple: Smaller and more manageable than the Potala, this 4-storey, golden-roofed temple is at the heart of a rich and living Tibetan Buddhism. Many locals pray here regularly; the Temple is surrounded by Barkhor Street and thronged with pilgrims and visitors.

- Barkhor Street: Watch the pilgrims, wearing local dress from many different parts of Tibet, as they circle clockwise around Jokhang Temple with prayer wheels, or prostrate themselves near the front gate.

Day 10: Lhasa - Chongqing (B)
Fly to Chongqing. Our guide will be waiting for you at Chongqing Airport and transfer you to board on the Yangtze River Cruise. If time permits, you could drop in at the Panda House of Chongqing Zoo to see the adorable giant pandas.

Day 11: Yangtze River (B, L, D )
The cruise starts at 9:00. Excursion to Snow Jade Cave and Fengdu (Ghost city), a must- shore excursion site on the Yangtze cruise.

- Fengdu (Ghost city): The Ghost City Fengdu, which also called the "City of Ghosts" on the Ming Hill is 170 km from the east of Chongqing with a history of 1,900 years.

Day 12: Yangtze River (B, L, D )
Excursion to Baidicheng. Passing Qutang Gorge and Wu Gorge, Before entering into the final Xiling Gorge, you will experience an interesting junk adventure along the Shennong Stream. 

- Qutang Gorge: Below White Emperor City you will enter Qutang Gorge, the first of the three gorges of the Yangtze River, and the one that is famous for its sheer and spectacular precipices.

-  Wu Gorge: it is the most beautiful section of the Yangtze River, flanked by high peaks that are often capped by fog or clouds.

- Shennong Stream: Shennong Stream, a tributary of the Yangtze River, rises in the southern part of the Shennongjia Natural Reserve.

- Xiling Gorge: Comprising many dangerous rapids and currents, Xiling Gorge starts at Badong County and zigzags for 76 kilometers (47 miles) down to the Nanjin Pass in Yichang.

Day 13: Yichang - Shanghai by air (B, L)
You will take a bus up to the peak of Tanziling and get a bird's eye view of the grand Three Gorges Dam, the largest hydropower station and dam in the world. Getting back to the ship. Arrival at Yichang, on the middle and upper reaches of the Yangtze River. Our local tour guide will meet you at the port. After lunch, transferred to the Yichang Airport. Take the afternoon flight for Shanghai. Met and transferred to your hotel in Shanghai.

- Three Gorges Dam: The Three Gorges Dam on the Yangtze River has been a dream for generations and will be one of the largest construction projects ever undertaken by mankind.

Day 14: Shanghai (B, L)
Visit the Shanghai Museum and the Yuyuan Garden. After lunch, transfer you to the Bund area, where you will take a cruise tour on the Huangpu River. The cruise will start at 14:00, reach the Wusongkou pier and then get back to the Bund at 17:00. Leave you some free time to explore the Bund area on your own. 

- Shanghai Museum: The biggest museum in China, with a collection of over 120,000 pieces of Chinese art & cultural relics. The museum is especially famous for its treasures of bronzes, ceramics, paintings, and calligraphy.

- Yuyuan Garden: it is a famous classical garden located in Anren Street, Shanghai.

- The Bund: The former foreign settlement, ranged along with imposing buildings of the colonial period.

- Huangpu River: it is the most important shipping artery of Shanghai, wriggles like an undulating muddy dragon from the mouth of the Yangtze River in Wusong to the East China Sea.

Day 15:  Shanghai / End  ( B)
Transfer to airport for departure or free on your own.
