Fengdu Snowy Jade Cave
In the ghost country Fengdu, on the steep cliffs above the Longhe canyon, there is a beautiful, mysterious cave-Snowy Jade Cave, also called Xue Yudong.
Xue Yudong is only 12 kilometers from the new county of Chongqing Fengdu, and across the Yangtze river with the Mountains of Fengdu. The transportation is convenient and travelers can get there directly by boat from Chongqing to Yichang.
From the study geologists have found that the Snowy Jade Cave is the youngest cave in China and has three "Rare characteristics in the world": First, Xue Yudong is the world's rare white as snow cave, 80% of the landscapes inside the cave are "white as snow, pure as jade" and its crystal clear, gives a feeling that if you fillip on it will pierce it; Second, Xue Yudong is the world's fast-growing rare cave just as "youthful girl." The growth rate of the 
landscape sediments in caves are generally about a millimeter in 100 years , while the Xue Yudong can reach 33 millimeters in 100 years, the growth rate is 33 times of the general caves; Third, Xue Yudong is a rare "white marble sculpture museum" in the world, the stone falls, the stars brilliant stream dams, incredible stone hair, the curling stones in great variety of shapes and forms, and a number of birds, beasts, insects and fish formed after the tunnel wall dissolution, and also has the most unique, the world's first stone shield and tower coral flower cluster, etc., are really the "white jade carving exquisite community, snow and ice dancing paradise!."
80% of the stalactites in the cave are "white as snow, pure as jade", it has been named "Xue Yudong" by Professor Zhu Xuewen, the president of the China Caves Association. Xue Yudong length of 1644 meters, 1166 meters have been developed into tour routes, A total of three layers from top to bottom, is 
divided into six clusters: Splendid Gathering of Outstanding , heaven and earth, step by step climb, Northland scenery, Qionglouyuyu, glorious future. In which there are four world-class wonders: First, the largest and the largest number of Tower coral flower cluster (commonly known as Terra Cotta Warriors), the second is crystal clear, the thinnest and longest stone flag King, the third is 4 meters in diameter, ice and snow continental shield, the fourth is goose tube king which up to 2.5 meters, other superb views as many as dozens, may be viable view landscape are up to more than 100.
Walking in Xue Yudong, watch snow of billions of years ago and the beautiful snow jade after trillion years, heard of distant Sound of nature, you can appreciate the shocking charming of "Xue Yudong", enjoy fun of "scenery of the North , snow and ice world ". Xue Yudong will attract tourists with its unique charm.
