Itinerary of China Group Tour - 7 Days Beijing Xian Shanghai Group Tour with Hotel by Train

Day 1: Arrival at Beijing
On your arrival at Beijing, we will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to your hotel in Beijing. Free on your own for the rest of the day.

Day 2: Beijing (B, L)
The tour guide will pick you up from the hotel around 07:30am, and then drive to Ming Tombs (Changling). A short visit of Jade Carving Factory. After lunch, driving to the Badaling Great Wall. Enjoy the Chinese traditional Silk arts. After the tour, transferred back to your hotels.

-- Ming Tomb: Buried 13 emperors of Ming Dynasty, it is the largest clusters of imperial cemeteries in China.
-- Badaling Great Wall: The most famous and best-preserved section of the Great Wall.

Day 3: Beijing to Xian (B, L)
The tour guide pick you up from your hotel around 07:30am. This tour starts at Tiananmen Square, then go to the Forbidden City. On the way to Temple of Heaven, you will have a chance to visit the Chinese traditional medicine culture. Then visit the Temple of Heaven. After having traditional Chinese lunch, enjoy a short visit to a pearl free market. Take you to visit the Summer Palace. After the tour, transfer you to the train station and take the night train to Xian.

- Tiananmen Square: The largest public square in the world with a total area of 440,000 square meters.
- Forbidden City: The best preserved imperial palace in China and the largest ancient palatial structure in the world.
- Temple of Heaven: The largest existing complex of ancient sacrificial buildings in China.
- Summer Palace: The largest and most well-preserved royal park in China, greatly influences Chinese horticulture.

Day 4: Xian to Shanghai (L)
Pick up from the Train station in Xian, first have a one hour tour of Banpo Museum. After visit Banpo Museum you have a chance to visiting at the Qin Terra-cotta figures factory for about 40 minutes. After lunch, move on to the famous Terra-cotta Wariors and Horses for a 3-hour visit. At the end of the day tour, transfer you to the train station and take the night train to Shanghai.

- Terra Cotta Warriors: It is a part of the Qin emperor's tomb complex, the Terra Cotta Warriors is the greatest findings in the archeology world.
- Banpo Museum: The Banpo Site is a typical Neolithic matriarchal community belonging to the Yangshao Culture. The village was inhabited from about 4500 BC to 3750 BC.

Day 5: Arrival at Shanghai.
On your arrival at Shanghai, we will pick you up from the train station and transfer you to your hotel in Shanghai. Free on your own for the rest of the day.

Day 6: Shanghai (B, L)
Pick you up from the hotel on decided time after breakfast, then drive you to visit Yu Garden, Jade Buddha Temple, the Bund, People's Square, Former French Concession, Shanghai Museum and Xintiandi which are the famous tourist destinations in Shanghai. After this one day trip, transfer you back to your hotel.

- Yu Garden: is considered one of the most lavish and finest Chinese gardens in the region.
- Jade Buddha Temple: a spiritual oasis in the midst of a booming city．
- Shanghai Museum: ranked as the best museum of China and especially famous for its treasures of bronzes, ceramics, paintings, and calligraphy.
- Xintiandi: A leisure entertainment centre with catering, shopping, and an amazing nightlife to suit all tastes and moods, all in a romantic, distinctly Shanghai setting.

Day 7: Departure from Shanghai (B)
Prepare to leave Shanghai, tour guide will pick you up from the hotel and we will send you to the airport. See you off and the tour end.

Really glad we had this vacation in China and it is so much fun to explore Chinese cities. There are so many great sights in Beijing, Xian and Shanghai. My favorite sight is the Great Wall. Highly recommend!

Wow, this tour is arranged so excellent that we felt just at home. Really! Tour guide in informative with each spot arranged. I liked the culture of Xian, very memorable and lifelike. Strolling in the street, I felt I have pass into the ancient times. It is the third time to Terracotta Warriors but very fresh feeling. Each time I came, it will bring me different feeling and appearance. Most important is that the tour guide also gave me much more about its background, truly deserved experience!

The tour was organized, informative and memorable. Pickup and tour were timed as promised. More importantly, the others in the tour were interesting and engaged. Climbed the Great Wall, wandered the ancient palace of China, see the metropolis China, discover the Qin emperor tomb of Terracotta Army in Xian, and many more new knowledge that we got after joined this tour. I would highly recommend this tour and the tour company.

This was a fantastic introduction to China through some visit to Beijing, Xian and Shanghai. The tour is well paced and if you have a lot of time more than week in China, I should recommend this tour for you. Price was good and worth it and don't worry, you will get all of things that you expected before. By the way, thanks for this great vacation!

We did see lots of impressive tourist attractions in 3 famous big cities, Beijing, Xian and Shanghai. I was really proud and grateful to finally visit Great Wall, Terracotta Army and even have a great shopping time in Shanghai. It was well planned, great value and plenty to see. We all have a good time and glad we took this tour. We would never have seen this much on my own.
