Itinerary of 5 Days Zhangjiajie Phoenix City Tour with Hotel

Day 1: Zhangjiajie Arrival
When you arrival at Zhangjiajie, you will be met and transferred to your hotel with private vehicle and tour guide.

Day 2: Zhangjiajie (B, L)
1. Pick you up from your hotel on departure time and then transfer you to enjoy the full day trip to visit Mengdong River and enjoy the Mengdong River Rafting, Hibiscus Town.
- Mengdong River: famous for an ideal place to rafting, nestled among beautiful mountains.
- Hibiscus Town: famous for old architectural structures and the wooden buildings as homeland of Tujia minority.
2. Have a taste of local flavor tofu snacks meters. Stay overnight in Fenghuang City (Chinese for Phoenix).
- Fenghuang City (Chinese for Phoenix): reputed as "the most beautiful town in China" in an area of outstanding natural beauty.

Day 3: Zhangjiejie Forest Park (B, L)
1. Pick you up from your hotel on departure time and then transfer you to enjoy full day trip to Shen Congwen's Former Residence, Xiong Xiling's Former Residence, Yang Ancestral Halls, Hongqiao Arts House, Thousand towers, Ancient buildings, Tuojiang River Tiber, Diaojiaolou.
- Shen Congwen's Former Residence: famous for the exquisitely brick-wood structure as home of the famous literature.
- Tujia people's Diaojiaolou: harmonizing with the surrounding natural environment and ethnic distinctiveness.
2. And then Drive to Forest Park. Stay overnight there.

Day 4: Zhangjiajie (B, L)
1. Pick you up from your hotel and enjoy the full day trip to Huangshi Village, Zhangjiajie Forest Park, Six Qi Ge, Chaihsing Taiwan, stroll along the Grand Canyon Physiognomy, Trinidad one, Shikonin Lake, Shu Huan weight.
2. End of this tour, transfer you to stay overnight in landscape.

Day 5: Zhangjiajie (B, L)
1. Pick you up from your hotel on departure time and then transfer you to enjoy full day trip to Fenglin King, Tianzi Mountain, West Sea, He Long Park colored flowers, Royal stroke, Geology, and they are all the most famous spots in Zhangjiajie National Forest Park.
2. You can enjoy the urban free shopping to enjoy the authentic folk custom. After the visit transfer to the airport and see off.

5 days for me exploring Zhangjiajie is very short! First time coming to this authentic land, I was completely impressed by its fresh and charming sceneries. Wandering in the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park, it seems that I have entered into another fairy world and the truly nature. All the plants are greeting to me. By this chance, I also appreciated the most beautiful town in China – Phoenix Town.

Tofu snack is my favorite, soft and flavor! I felt excited seeing the most beautiful town of China, scattering with most charming scenery! Local residences are most Tujia People. I learnt a lot about their dressing styles, life habits and local culture, so interesting. Highly recommend Zhangjiajie Tour!

Zhangjiajie National Forest Park was incredible amazing with its stunning view. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole itinerary and the trip. Tour was very well organised. We loved being in a small group and having the personalized attention. Amazing ancient town and Zhangjiajie itself has extremely beautiful and stunning views surroundings. Besides the attractions that were really worth to visit, the tour guide was super friendly and informative. Would definitely recommend this trip and hope you also have a memorable vacation same with us!

During this Zhangjiajie tour, I visited most famous spots and characteristics of Zhangjiajie. Different with Beijing and Shanghai, it is just a small city but full of the local folk customs. Walking in the Ancient Phoenix City which is one of the famous ancient towns in China, I was attracted by the special residences, the costume of local people and their language and culture. The tour guide explained it is a gathering place for Tujia Nationality, one of the 56 ethnic groups in China. It was a worth tour, and if I had chance I would like to visit more minorities in China.
