Itinerary of 5 Days Beijing Private Tour Packages with Hotel

Day 1: Arrival at Beijing
On your arrival, we will meet you at the airport and transfer you to the hotel. Free for rest of this day.

Day 2: Beijing (B)
1. Pick you up from hotel on departure time and drive to Tiananmen Square. Take photos around the largest city square and then move on to visit the symbol of Beijing - Forbidden City. The Forbidden City tour includes the Exhibition of Treasures.
- Tiananmen Square: the heart of Beijing, the largest public city square in the world.
- Forbidden City: best preserved imperial palace in China, the largest wooden cluster in existence in the world.
2. After a la carte lunch, move on to visit another historical site of Beijing, the Temple of Heaven. On the way to Temple of Heaven, you will enjoy the Chinese traditional medicine culture.
- Temple of Heaven: the place to worship the heaven for the emperors of Ming and Qing Dynasty.
3. In the evening, enjoy the Peking Opera Show (or Chinese Acrobatic show, or Chinese Kongfu show, choose one show from these three options, depending on your interest).
4. End of this day, transfer you back to the hotel.

Day 3: Beijing (B, L)
1. Pick you up from your hotel after breakfast and drive to historical site in Beijing, the Ming Tombs. Visit Changling or Dingling.
- Ming Tomb: Buried 13 emperors of Ming Dynasty, it is the largest clusters of imperial cemeteries in China.
2. After lunch, transfer you to visit famous Badaling Great Wall. On the way to Badaling Great Wall, you will visit a large scale jade processing factory. You may also take photos in the huge Jade exhibition hall or buy some jade carving souvenir as you like.
- Badaling Great Wall: best-preserved section and the essence of the Ming Dynasty Great Wall situated in Beijing.
3. Transfer you back to the hotel.

Day 4: Beijing (B)
1. Pick you up from your hotel and enjoy the Hutong tour and have an attractive tour to Shi Cha Hai, the most beautiful area in center of Beijing. The hutong rickshaw tour will last about 2 hours. During the tour, you will enjoy the typical Chinese quadrangles, where you can experience the real life of ordinary people in Beijing, and many famous old buildings, like the Square of Drum Tower, silver bridge, etc.
- Hutong: record the cultural relics and historical monuments, the memory of the traditional life and culture in Beijing.
2. Have a la carte lunch in local family with home cooked dumplings.
3. The last destination of the tour is the Summer Palace, the famous impreial garden with picturesque scenery. Then have a 45 minutes short tour to pearl free market.
- Summer Palace: the largest and best preserved imperial garden of the Qing Dynasty extant in Beijing.
4. End of this day tour, transfer you back to the hotel.

Day 5: Beijing (B)
Pick you up from the hotel and transfer to airport. See off.

We did this 5 tour and really satisfied with everything! Saw everything we wanted to... and much more. Forbidden City was impressive and still one of the highlights our trip since it is so laden with history and Chinese culture. Everything inside the palace was related back to Imperial China and has strong ties to the emperor.

This tour was absolutely worth it. The tour guide was excellent and very accommodating. She is also very friendly and informative person. We got the best service city tour from a local tour agency of China, chinalandscapes. I would also recommend Beijing as the interesting and must visit destination on your China trip. Lots of famous historical and cultural relics in the capital. Very worth for a short visit!

There was just enough time to see inside the attractions which I really enjoyed. A great day. We did not know so much about Beijing but learnt a lot after join the tour. Summer Palace was stunning! It is a royal garden with great garden landscapes and a huge lake in the center of it. The weather was fantastic adding to our most enjoyable experience.
