Itinerary of 4 Days Yunnan Tour Packages with Hotel

Day 1: Kunming - Jianshui (L, D)
1. In the morning, our guide and driver will meet you at the meeting point, and then transfer you to Jianshui (3 hours), visit Jianshui ancient town, Dofu workshop, Zhu family garden. In the Jianshui Ancient town, you will see the different standards of houses built by rich and poor families.
- Jianshui Ancient Town: one of the Chinese historical cultural ancient cities in China.
2. End of this day, transfer you to your hotel in Jianshui.

Day 2: Jianshui - Yuanyang (B, L, D)
1. Pick you up from your hotel in Jianshui, and then transfer you to visit Jianshui City Wall, Confucius Temple.
- Jianshui City Wall: a famous and typical city wall worth to visit in Yunnan.
2. And then drive you to Yuanyang (4 hours) to enjoy the sunset view at Laohu People rice terraces.
- Yuanyang: a famous location of rice terraces which is the outstanding work left by Hani people.

Day 3: Yuanyang (B, L, D)
1. Pick you up from your hotel in Yuanyang very early, and then transfer you to see the sunrise over the terraces at Duoyi village and then visit the local Hani and Yi people in the local villages around and their rice terraces. You will visit different areas of the huge valley to see the amazing engineering and beautiful formations of the terraces.
2. End of this day, stay overnight in Yuanyang.

Day 4: Yuanyang - Kunming (B)
Pick you up from Yuanyang and then drive back to Kunming (6h) to the meeting point.

2. Entrance ticket (CNY230);
3. Hotel Accommodation (3 star);
4. Group driver and English-speaking tour guide;
5. Meals as listed in itinerary, B=Breakfast, L=Lunch;

2. Suggested CNY40 per person per day as tip for guide;
3. Suggested CNY20 per person per day as tip for driver.

This 4 days Yunnan tour was extremely worth it and well organized. It was great to see an ancient city of China in Jianshui Ancient Town, beautiful rice paddies, strong and magnificent ancient city wall and many others historical sites around. Highly recommended the tour when the weather is good. You could see most beautiful views on that time.

I found no matter which city in China the ancient town with long history and relics has. The tour guide explained China is an old country with 5,000 years, so these ancient towns are not very strange in China, but everyone has its characteristic. Of course, the ancient town in Yunnan is different I had seen before in China.
